    • Updated thanks

    • Yep bought a pack last week. Eventually found them near checkouts after being directed elsewhere.

    • Also target via catch

  • These were $10 for a pack of 30s on Amazon less than 3 years ago O_O

why ppl still buying nonrechargables ?

    • Superior power

      • Not really much in it with say Eneloop Pro vs a normal Energizer I wouldn't have thought

        Eneloop Pro ~2500mah
        Energizer 2779mah

    • +3
      • Longer term shortage
      • Higher initial voltage (Rechargable NiMH: ~1.4 volts, Non-rechargable alkaline: ~1.65 volts)
      • Non-rechargable alkaline generally last far longer in low drain devices like remote controls
      • Cost

take your tv remote for example. battery probably lasts a couple years. put in cheap alkaline battery, or put in a rechargeable battery that costs 10x more?

  • Im curious if people who buy these are same people who stock up on Eneloop batteries

    • I have both - disposable and Eneloops. I use these for toys/remotes where the battery last for good 6months-1year.

    • Yes. Yes we are…

  • I still got heaps from over a year ago.

  • Some are made in China, some are Singapore

  • Anyone know how much better the max plus is? About 50% more expensive when on sale, but probably not 50% better?

  • Not cheap enough to beat out Costco's Kirkland AA batteries

    • True but how are their performance compared to these ones?

Do you know if the Kirkland ones are ever on special?

  • Can you price match and use perks voucher?

    • Yes, when you price match they will give you a cart with the matched price - you can use the perks code in the voucher section.
