  • I was checking out hotels in Melbourne and when I was ready to buy, it was already sold out … :(

  • What actually is this? Where is the list of place you can stay with the voucher?

    • It took me quite a while to figure it out.. but my understanding is its a simple Klook voucher for discounts on hotels.

    • The stays voucher is sold out, but you book the Stays via Klook Hotels (https://www.klook.com/hotels/) and apply the promo code before payment.

  • Thanks, just worked it out.

  • Confusing process, but it seems(after you've purchased and then selected a car) it's automatically applied in the cart, without specifying that this deal has been applied. Saved a tonne. thanks.

    • +1

Saved $174.45, which is above the maximum stated in the title. Don't ask me.

      • +1

The values stated in the title were calculated by taking the cost of the voucher from the max value of the voucher (for the car rental, $248.45 - $99.39 = $149.06). Though if you saved more that then that's great!

$99.39 / $248.45 = 40%, so you get up to 60% towards the cost of the final booking.

  • So it says the Japan vouchers go on sale on the 17th. So I buy the vouchers now and then use them whenever to book the stuff I want?

    • Yes, the Japan vouchers will probably go on sale around midday AEST on the 17th.

You can buy and use them before they expire (just after December 31st) or get a refund by December 31st.

      • Japan vouchers never works. SOLD OUT instantly. Don’t bother participating any Klook marketing spam again

        • =S that's a bummer
was excited about the Japan vouchers but yea sold out already

  • +2

Thanks for sharing, we got 2 rental vouchers with 2 different accounts and you saved us $400 (2 x $200).

The code works for NZ car rentals as well.

  • For those who bought it, can you still use the left over amount for another transaction?
Example: I bought $100 voucher and I only use $70, can I still use it next time? Or is it one-time use only?

    • +1

It's not like a gift voucher with a definitive value. It's a single use promo code which offers either a percentage off or the max value off, whichever is lower.

      • Thanks! So, I need to make sure that the transaction amount is a good deal first then

  • Welp the Japan version of this felt like a scam, everything sold out instantly. Added to cart and before it would pay it was sold out. I know Klook is usually a reputable site but feels like they only had 1 of each coupon.

    • Exactly the same. Set reminder to log on. Klook marketing is a scam. SOLD OUT instantly

    • Agreed, luckily I managed to get one. Really only got one chance to buy one because after that, the others were gone.

      • Which one did you get? The 10% off one was there for a bit, none of the others lasted past 10 seconds.

        • The Stay Saver

          • @ozproud: I instantly went for the Kyoto/Osaka code and it instantly failed.

    • The same happened for the Hong Kong & Macau Joy Savers. It could be due to both limited inventory and Klook's popularity in Asian countries.

    • There was also a $99 off JR pass promo that was meant to drop at 9pm.
Turns out eh code was already fully redeemed before 9pm

      • The only Japan one remaining is the "spend $83 to get $93" code.

  • Honestly this type of gimmicks can only be allowed in certain parts or the world. if it’s limited number on offer, it should advertise the amount.

  • Can anyone help out on how I can use this?
I bought the promo code for car rentals in Australia, but it's not clear where or how I can apply it. Even when I click the promocode button, it doesn't appear as an option to use the one I purchased.

    • Go to Klook's Car Rentals page (https://www.klook.com/en-AU/car-rentals/), search for a rental for your dates/location and proceed to the payment screen.

It should automatically apply the promo code, or allow you to select it. The cost breakdown and discount should be shown on the right-hand side.

You can then enter your payment details or exit out of the booking.

      • Thanks for your reply. I ended up speaking to a rep and figuring out, the issue was, it was only valid for 'pay now', and not on pickup, which I didn't realise not all vendors allowed for.
