no thats the price to buy 10 if im reading it correctly
I believe its 6.50 for states that offer rebates on container recycling, states that don't offer the rebate system have cheaper base prices.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking? https://media.tenor.com/N9GOduPXek8AAAAd/seinfeld-pack-up.gi…
I’m offended that they are marketing this towards kids ??
Why can’t I have diabetes too ?
40g of sugar per can? No thank you!
It’s $5.80 in VIC only and $6.50 elsewhere.
Equivalent to $5.85 on Amazon (via s&s) but have to putchase 2 10 packs.
So pay $1 more but you get 10c per can back if you recycle them. I thought the packaging company paid for the recycling to keep the streets clean - what a con. An aluminium can does not cost 10c to manufacture.
That's not the point .. it's not about the cost of manufacture, it's about incentivising recycling. In NSW, drink suppliers pay an average of 11.73 cents per unit to the Return & Earn scheme operators, and 10 cents is returned to the customer once they deposit it at a Return & Earn centre. https://www.exchangeforchange.com.au/suppliers/pricing.html
Has anyone tried the new orange flavour? Any good?
For a sugar free flavour, its pretty good. Definitely worth a try.
The manufacturer has to foot the cost upfront to the government, and so passes this cost onto the consumer -which is why prices in states like NSW are always slightly higher than states like Vic.
But ultimately a large percentage never actually gets returned and so that's just pure profit for the government
You get 65 cents a can these days?!
