Matching Big W. Should we still wait for "free" on game pass?

If you look at the most recent Steam reviews, the performance issues present at launch STILL have not been fixed. The game has been out for nearly 6 months on PC.
I purchased the first one for $5.99AUD direct on Steam, and since EA/Respawn think so little of PC players the 2nd one doesn't deserve to be bought for a cent more than that.
I want this game, but given the sheer number of games in my pile of shame, and the bugs reported, this is no bargain for me. [waits patiently]
can't believe this game is still this broken. I had to play with a DLSS3 Frame generation mod
FREE IS THE WAY
mmmmmmm I was almost tempted… but its a fair point this will end up part of game pass at some point (ultimate anyway)
honestly i know im in a minority here but i only found the first one to be 'mildly enjoyable', ill grab this sub $20 hopefully by the time they fix the performance issues. till then, not on my radar at all
Steam Deck playable?
They still haven't fixed the performance issues so not really
This will be a $30 pickup for me, maybe it will get there with the Black Friday Sales
Do we know if this is a Steam code or EA?
Methinks unfortunately it is EA. Please someone correct me if wrong.
Yeah its EA app - Star Wars Jedi Survivor PC edition redeems on the the EA App
Any easy way to install this on Steam Deck then?
I dont have a steam deck so i wouldnt personally know how to help, but I found this video hopefully its not too complicated - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpnhboguObY
This crashes more than any other game i've ever played (PC). Just on a specific world i crashed about 7 times alone.
Good other than that!
Great game, I got about 70 hours out of it so definitely worth it at this price. I didn't have any performance issues after the first patch unlike any above. They recently released what seems like their last performance patch on September 5th so that might make things better. I do have a beefy amd pc so that could be why I didn't have issues. Just don't expect crazy results from old hardware like a lot of people generally do. It is one of the best-looking games I have seen in HDR.
