I will never use Menulog again after my last experience.
Scheduled an order for 5pm delivery and it didn’t arrive till 6:30pm. Driver just didn’t bother picking up the order, even when assigned to the restaurant.

Every time I chased up customer service they kept bumping the ETA by 20mins-30mins, until I couldn’t cancel the order. One rep offered to send a voucher for the order total (to use on my next order) but a later rep then walked it back and said the first rep “made a typographical error”!

I rang the restaurant and they were super nice and helpful- they said don’t bother using menulog in future they are hopeless (and knew not to make the order until the driver was physically there to pick it up).

When the driver arrived he blamed the restaurant for being 90mins late!
    Never again!

Don’t waste your time with a measly $10 discount, which gets eaten up by service fee (+delivery) anyway. I don’t even want to imagine what their reliability is like from 8:30pm-5:30am! Lol

Never use them. As a delivery driver I know all the tricks, Menulog doesn’t rate driver, so lots of drivers don’t bother to pick up the order, part of reason would be restaurant won’t cook until Menulog app notified them, hence long waiting time for drivers. So what they do is just went to restaurant click “park at restaurant” then do Uber eats or Doordash orders, when they got time came back probably 30 min later to grab the order, they will also got extra $5 bonus “waiting fee” although they actually wasn’t waiting. you as customer can’t even track the driver and can’t even call the driver. The company is ridiculous, sometimes like kfc needs time to cook extra chicken hence told driver there would be 20 min wait, drivers usually just cancelled the order but for Menulog, you would be spent at least 10 min to cancel , you got to contact Menulog, the reps usually were very unhelpful won’t allow us to cancel, you need to explain to them what happened, they still copy and paste you would grt pay during waiting blah blah. Personally I never do Menulog during peak hour, too much troubles and I felt sorry for customers who use this company.

damm wish i could be a bicycle driver as a hobby for a small area in my suburb. I'd be picking up a lot of my own orders and also doing heaps of exercise but I guess you cant really afford to be picky choosing orders

      • Exactly I totally agree Menulog are the worst for customers and may be restaurants too. They lag far behind Doordash and Uber. But you get a driver who knows how to exploit menulog's shortcomings only may be 25% of the time. Any other time the service is decent because of driver's decency and not because of Menulog. For me this is a great deal if you're willing to take that 75% chance

    • Menulog service is absolutely appalling.

They burn money on ads and have the most inept service I have seen.

It defies all logic and shows a very disconnected business in my view.

I had an issue and agent after agent kept closing the chat. I made an order the night before which was meant to come before work and it never came on time. I asked to cancel and they refused. They instead kept closing the chat.

I avoid using menulog for delivery as I have no confidence they will help if something goes wrong.

    • Been using menulog after I boycotted ubereats. Especially using woth their late nite $10 deals for pizzas lol. Probably used them maybe 50-70 times this year alone.

Never had much any issue with them regarding drivers not picking up the order. Had a few incidents though when they messed up with instructions where to drop the delivery or some drivers not bothering to contact me at all and just left the food at an arbitrary location in my place.

But it happens with other companies too. At least they haven't scammed me like Ubereats did.

      • Spoke too soon lol. Just after writing this. The very next order with menulog wasn't great. I pre ordered for next day delivery. Restaurant confired.

However the next day delivery time came and passed but no updates. After half hr I got impatient and Contacted menulog and they didnt know what happened. So I contacted the restaurant they said no driver arrived and they are closing already. Contacted menulog again and the chat just said they will cancel the order and any charges would be refunded. Then closed the chat abruptly.

I probably would stock woth them until the $10 deals are finished.

  • Stack with shop back 50% westpac deal

  • I mainly use menulog when there are vouchers to get bubble tea because it doesn't matter if they come late since they are just cold drinks I order. Never really had an issue.

  • Placed an order at 8.30. Driver never got assigned. Still waiting for driver to be assigned after almost 3 hours. I am in Fairfield VIC.
Everytime there is one story or the other resulting in order delays.

  • 99c delivery didn't seem to be there for me today

    • i couldnt see it yesterday either, think they stopped that mon-wed deal

  • is anyone else unable to pre order from restaurants for the next day now, i tried yesterday and could only schedule with the places that were open at 8:30pm and none of the closed ones which i used to be able to do

  • fark im waiting for over an hour for my lunch. the shop says no driver assigned and advised to cancel and order via ubereats xD

    • Do you find Ubereats price is higher for the same restaurant?

      • Just checked out of curiousity, UE price is slightly higher

        • Yes, I find at least $2 different per dish plus their service fees.

  • Those with Comm bank could stack the reward deal spend $30 get $15 back woth this.

    • It's better to stack it with $15 off $40 deals

    • i dont have this

  • I love this deal.

I can get a Family Pizza delivered for $12 thanks to this and because of free delivery.
I do however miss the Lunch time codes :(
