What are the chances we will see internal storage HDD pricing sub $25 a TB?
Feels like $30 - $33 a TB is the norm lately.
Does anyone know of any deals?

I haven't paid more than $25/Tb for over 2 years.
The group buy had prices down to under $17/Tb, and regular Amazon prices are still at $25/Tb so you're likely only seeing the NAS/enterprise grade HDDs that most users don't really need.
Any idea when the next group buy will run? I wasn't aware of this.
Also, regular amazon prices to me would be current pricing, not expired deals, but I take your point about them being on sale semi-regularly.
Your other option, if you have the budget, is a bulk storage SSD instead, for <$60/Tb. Whilst it is double the capital, you will have the advantages of speed and power efficiency which might be worth considering - just depends if you're looking for a very large quantity of space and/or connection options.
I've got enough reserve space on my current setup that I can probably wait 18 months before another expansion, so hopefully by then SSDs will be close to price parity and I won't need any more spinning rust.
My use case is purely data storage (photos and videos) - I have multiple external units and data spread out everwhere with possible duplicates due to poor management. I just need 10-16tb so I can offload everything to a central point, clean up, then I will back up to my externals.
New HDD would be installed into an always on home server running OMV
@Pavle: Ah, gotcha.
The last GB is still having issues with faulty stock and shipping delays, so if you're not willing to wait 2+ months for a great deal then just keep an eye out for another Amazon deal, and shuck the drives to stick into RAID. Paying a premium for a retail warranty may also be worthwhile rather than through the GB.
I'm out of the loop, but what happened with the July GB? Was there some issues or delays with stock?
I took part in the Nov 2022 one (which was amazing btw) and would love another similar opportunity in the next few months.
Come on @Neology we need you!!
Late to this, but look at the site generally the exchange rate changes recently have just crashed any 'bargains' that might be had for a while. As an example, look at the stock levels for just about anything that isn't retail stuff and you might get something decent next year.
History says the chances are almost a certainty, but probably not immediately. Though I did buy a 12tb drive under $200 from a deal on here, so it pays to be vigilant.
It depends when you need it.
