I have this for small picnics and get togethers in the backyard. Very impressive bass and clear sound. Great size for carrying it around and I feel like I only need to charge it rarely.

I have one of these in the bathroom. Works perfectly and sounds good for the price. I mainly use it for podcasts and audio books. Would definitely recommend.

Do you use it when taking a number 2 or when showering (or pehaps when in the bath)

      • +2

I have a speaker affixed to the stalk of the shower head. Makes showering so much fun, especially if you're filthy and lathering up listening to something rockin' or with big beats.

Usually when i take a shower. :). Or anytime i'm going to be in there more than 5 or so minutes. :p

Can these be paired with 2 together for stereo sounds?

Details on the Amazon page say

PartyCast Technology: Link 100+ Mini 3 (or any Soundcore PartyCast speakers) to party into the next dimension.

I'm assuming this will only duplicate the mono signal across multiple speakers though, rather than be intelligent enough to separate a stereo signal

Also Discounted from same seller is the Anker Soundcore for $43.34 (From $69.99)
Just watched this review and this review between the two, seems the Soundcore is the one for me, for a desktop speaker for the office.

    • If anyone is interested, the Soundcore 3 operates in stereo (when not linked), louder, and longer playtime.
Reviewed as having less bass than the Mini 3 though, and due to its size/weight, less portable.

Also, the Soundcore has enough weight that it doesn't walk itself along surfaces when doof-doofing too much (possible pro/con depending on your viewpoint).

    • The Soundcore Boost apparently has better sound quality, but it's slightly more expensive at ~$65 (from ~$85 atm). Less battery life though. I have a Soundcore 3 which I didn't like at first, but EQ in their app saved the day and now I love the little thing!

You could also go all out and grab the Motion Boom Plus for $179, down from $299, but that might be a little overkill for the office lol

      • Good info, thanks!

I would not mind ordering these but they get delivered when I’m away and no option for faster delivery.

  • I just imagine that everyone in picnic area put it own speakers on table and enjoy their own preferably music.

    • The great thing about these is that they are small, so your music isnt as loud or offensive to others. But localised sound quality is surprisingly great for some chillaxing.

  • Man, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, having just bought a Bluetooth speaker from AliExpress for about half this price, and it sounds great… As good as my girlfriends $150 Bluetooth speaker (that she won in a raffle).

    • Ok thanks

    • … but which one

  • RGB?

this or the Sony SRS-XB13 Compact Extra Bass Wireless Bluetooth Speaker?

    • +2

I have used both. Xb-13 is a bit bigger, heavier and better in sound quality. But the soundcore mini 3 produces impressive sound considering it's size and price.

  • The JBL tiny speaker was playing in a furniture shop, I was blown away for the sound quality, I had to look for it to find out its a JBL.
