Samsung monitor released last month now on sale for $500 off.
Been waiting for this monitor since it was announced in January. It's now $500 cheaper than the base model Apple Studio Display and $1100 cheaper than the Apple Studio Display with height-adjustable stand.

Then OP could have stated that under the HN post.
We’re here to post deals. The original deal is still much more expensive than HN, hence the neg. And if the point of the JB post was to convey the message that you can price match to get a better price, then OP shouldn’t have needed to make a new point.

@cmyk: You can’t post a deal that you got via price beats/match. Either way people will find a cheaper price and will neg regardless, since it’s about posting the cheapest available for buyers

Some merchants offer Price Match/price beat against the same product listed online or in other shops. However, price beat itself is not a deal, but rather a method to make a merchant to sell you the same product at a lower price than another merchant's publicly listed price (which is usually the lowest price around).

Yes, if the price is cheaper at HN then it’s cheaper. If you want to big up your ethics then get rid of any devices which use rare metals originating from Africa.
Are the ports thunderbolt? I was pretty disappointed to find out I couldn't daisy chain another monitor onto my Apple Studio Display.
