A treat for the family - massive 2 kilogram custard tarts are on sale ($6.00 off normal price) until close-of-business Sunday 10 September. I haven't tried one of these personally. However I have read good things about them despite the obvious sugar content. (I was tempted)
I'm not sure if this in-store bakery special is available nationally but it seems warehouses in Victoria also sell at $12.99 each.

They had this price at a north lakes 2 weeks ago for the weekend. It’s hefty. Pretty decent, and can’t really complain for the price.

Honestly these taste 0/10. If you think you're in for 2KG of tart-like goodness from your local baker, think again.

From my local Costco FB group I’ve heard of many of these tarts ending up in the bin they taste so bad (like chemicals apparently) 🤷♂️. Never tried them myself though.
