    • +2

Wondering how many you have bought recently?

    • Yeah always have to chat to them online

  • +1

    thanks, bought

  • +1

Tried different ways and details for these few days, still cannot buy…. Close to giving up.

    • +4

It’s always darkest before the dawn

  • +1

    damn another 30 cents!

  • +1

Yep it's rejecting me today also

    • I got one through in the end

  • Something Went Wrong :(

  • @jv get that Tesla

    • +1

      Yes… one sim at a time !!!

  • +2

Yes, getting close to $4 profit !!!

    • I think BOOST10 may not expire today.

  • got 3 SIMs already in the backlog to activate. ordered another 4. i think boost is going to block my account soon.
May be i have to settle with a ICE hatchback rather than a tesla

    • What's an "ICE hatchback"?

  • +2

Goes through multiple times fine for me. Only time I use Microsoft Edge is when purchasing something with cashrewards, never had an issue.

  • +1

couldn't buy either, only bought 3 yesterday afternoon.

    • change device can only bought one

  • Any other ways to activate the sim when 35 sims have been activated?

    • Talk to CS and cancel existing sims.

      • Cancelling 2 or 3 sims I could see, but over 30 sims to cancel, mmmmmm not sure on the response?

        • +1

Who cares? They are your sims. You gotta do what you gotta do.

        • +5

I just asked CS to cancel my 20+ numbers and he seems to be enjoying doing it

          • @muchodinero: Haha, good on ya for having a go and succeeding.

            • @ozhunter68: Yeah! Coz I reached the 35 SIM limit today and after the numbers were cancelled, I was able to activate more SIMs right after!

          • @muchodinero: Ok, I've got to know… how can you tell?

        • +2

I went, no questions asked and they guy spent like 20 minutes doing it, if I was them id love chilling doing that instead of handling 40 people at once

  • +1

Don't know if it helps anyone else (sorry I can't be bothered trying with multiple purchases) but I just managed to get 1 successfully after many failures. Tried different devices, cards, names etc but that all failed. Tried a different address and that worked. Not sure if just timing or whether the address played a part but there you go…might help someone.

    • Did it track?

      • Hmm didn't even think about that as I was just trying to get a SIM. Good question…I can't see it in my Cashrewards account at all.

        • Same thing happened to me… Didn't track when it finally went through

    • From experience, changing address may work. The issue is its a sim card and I only have 1 home. Why should I have my sim delivered elsewhere at someone else's place.

      • Ummmm,….to get free/cheap data maybe?

Could see people sending this to friends and/or family nearby.

  • I missed out on the extra $1 !

    • +4

      Buy another?

  • my boost will expire another 10 days, can i buy this and port the number to this new sim card ? please tell me how to activate from boost to boost ? thank you

    • +1

Read the FAQ mate, it’s on there

  • Different cashrewards account, Name, phone number and credit card. But same address. Working ok.

  • Thanks! I just grabbed one

  • Will I still receive the cashback if the service got cancelled by CS even though the Cashrewards status is still Pending?

  • +1

Still strangely silent from CR / Boost as to why suddenly so many people are having troubles buying this.

    • +1

There was a response from a boost rep in a previous thread. Its a fraud/security check.

      • +2

Sadly we can't just accept what customer reps say because many say anything to get people off the line so they can get back to their cat videos. I have had so many reps over the years cite rote answers, even though I 100% KNEW they were wrong, showed them why, and only THEN they go, "Oh well, I don't know then sir. Maybe you call in again and get someone who knows more than me."

      • Yeah and what a shitty useless response when it's clear so many legit buyers are apparently getting flagged

  • +1

    Something went wrong as usual

  • went through no probs for me, i hardly ever use cashrewards.

  • Looks like boost have increased security due to the heavy abuse from ozbargain. Lol
Surprised it’s taken them this long not to increase security, or even not offer any cashback or shut it down.

    Sound familiar ???

Ubereats, doordash, 711, delonghi, etc, etc, etc lol

    • +3

35 SIM allowed in one ID shows no intention of it.

    • I don't think it's increased security. I'm having no problems and if I knew why I'd share it with other people.

    • doordash and 711 arent THAT secure. ubereats definitely is.

      • sorry, what's so secure about ubereats?

        • +1

new account deals they are talking about

      • Whats different between them?

        • Doordash don't let u use new user accounts deals on old ips and such, but if you make a new account with new everything, then you can log into that account on any ip even one that has already used new user bonus.

Ubereats on the other hand is basically Satan, if your account EVER touches an old ip or email or phone number or card details, new user bonus is deleted or account insta banned. Even clicking the email verification on an old ip (profanity) you

          • @abjsdhasehasee: Ok, cheers.
I helped my old man open a new UberEats account about 2 years ago. Said I would pay for the meal and used my card. All discounts he had were wiped.

He never ended up using his account, I never used mine again, and my sister deleted hers as well… Good system!

  • Two different CR accounts with different names addresses phone numbers and emails, except same credit card, both failed.

    • +1

I've done seperate CR accounts, different names address phone numbers emails cards browsers devices, VPN on & off and with no avail

  • -1

Can I purchase this SIM and use it as a "recharge" credit for my current boost long expiry prepaid service?

  • Worked for me.

  • Didn't work fist time, tried again with a different email address and it went through.

    • -1

Fist time is the best time

  • Something Went Wrong - again.

  • Anyone with any past experience with these know if it absolutely must be activated within 30 days? or could there be a bit of room to activate it around that date?

    • In my experience there is no way for them to track as there is no unique identification of the sim pack they send that can be connected to the order

      • The SIM itself has a unique number, on the outside of the pack.

        • Yeah but do you think they record it and tie it to the order

          • +1

@sub102: Yes, if you give them order number BO**** they can tell the SIM serial and even the mail tracking code that you can track in AusPost.

    • Cant't speak to Boost/CR but had a Shopback/Amaysim purchase that stated activate within 20 days, the sim has still not been activated but it was approved.

    • +2

      Several approved without activation.

  • no luck on this one 😞

  • Was only able to purchase 1. Sadt.

  • can't purchase any, why are they doing this?

not abusing it, needed to port my number(new to Boost) over but they don't allow any purchases! :(

  • -2

neg as i wasnt able to buy any after wasting my time. i tried everything nothing worked

  • Anyone having trouble activating the new SIM? I always got "Something web wrong" at the end. Tried 2 SIMs and both had the same issue. Contacted boost and they couldn't activate it either, though they offered to activate a $2 sim and transfer the plan to that new Sim. That would invalidate the cashback though…

    • Yes many times, until I tried a different email address

      • +1

There's a technical issue with Boost now that you can use an expired SIM for anything like unlimited data. The current service does not update data usage. I haven't seen others saying about it considering how popular Boost is here.

Not sure if it is also related to activation.

        • Really? Shit thats crazy lmao

          • +1

@outlander: Just to add: maybe no one can activate a SIM at the moment.

            • @Neoika: Looks like they might have fixed it. The phone I have with an expired sim was working, then I transfered the sim to another phone to try something and now it shows up as expired again.

              • @outlander: No, reply here using data on an expired SIM.

Maybe some unknown setting. Another expired one on another phone didn't work.

The one working has Boost App installed on it

              • +1

@outlander: Yes, fixed on the issue now. But data usage on the current plan still doesn't update.

                • @Neoika: Not seeing that myself. Data usage updating as normal.

                  • @wavesgreen: The data usage bar is moving now, but when I check usage history: one account has no record after 7 Sep, the other has no record after 6 Sep.

                    • @Neoika: I have no records after 7 Sep but total data usage is higher than what is recorded and on par with my daily usage.

                      • @wavesgreen: All back to normal. The data from 7 Sep to 9 Sep may lose tracking (or partially), free for users.

        • Lol, and to think I couldn't get cost effective data a decade ago, now I get payed to throw it away.

  • Tried many times still not able to activate my new SIM, always returned something went wrong at last step
