Don't do it. Battery will fail within about 12 months. Mapping is inferior to Roborock.

Yep .. battery craps out within 12months n maps always resets u need to set again.. also water pump on mop water tank cloggs and stuffs up cant spray water anymore ..annoying .. i wouldnt buy if i knew.

These are great until they stop working. Spend more and get something with a proper warranty and local support.

  • Have had this for nearly 2 years now - great unit, no major issues.

I don't use the mopping function often, but when I do, it works as expected

Only issue I have is that the bag empty sensor is screwed, and it shows that I need to empty the bag every time I use it - easy to ignore and I just need to keep an eye on it every now and then. Has always been this way, wasn't worth sending back/getting fixed.

Same here. 2yrs and still running strong. Apart from a new battery replaced after 12mths. Love the set and forget functions.
I don't use the mopping function so I can't comment on that.

  • Battery failed before 12 months. contact the support they sent replacement battery (had to wait for stock to arrive). new battery failed again in less than 4 months.

  • What's in the station? Dust bin, clean and dirty water tanks? Does it auto clean the mopping cloth?

    • +2

Station is just a dust transfer station - it does not auto clean the mopping cloth.

By reading the comments, it looks like it's case by case scenario.
Mine is working for 2 years now, still running strong
I can grab replacement parts easily from AliExpress as well so I would recommend.
Mop function for this is not good at all though. I never use it anymore after few times I tried

Dead battery after 12 months. Shredded gears in LHS drive motor. Base station fan failed. Panmi (the distributor) refused to help on anything. Went through all government departments, as they're in NSW and I'm not next course of action was a judgement from the magistrates court. Not worth the fees, effort and time.Ended up buying parts from Ali express and repairing myself. Caveat emptor.

  • all these comments on battery.. is it only for this model? i have a viomi (not this model.. non-self emptying one.. v2 i think) and I've had no issues for almost 3 years now.

I have a BotVac that the battery lasted about 2 years before totally losing capacity - I think it's pretty common across most of these vacs.

  • I have the same vac which I bought like 6 months ago. The map goes missing after a month or so. Remapping means that you must vacuum the whole house again instead of selecting regions. Very inconvenient if you ask me. Anyone know any fix for this?

Are you moving the base station at all by any chance? I've not had this issue except the few times I moved the base station.

      • No I don't move the base station at all

    • I got the problem twice a few months in, but found the solution. You need to go to setting, clear the cache then create new map again. It has been good for more than 1/2 year now.

      • I'll try that and see if that works

  • battery capacity reduced to half-ish after 12 months. Only works for 20 minutes or so but not complete failure as the others say.

    • There's no auto dust extraction station on that.

my 1.5 year experience with it has been positive so far, since i had roborock mihome vacuums already i put it onto the mihome app. havent had the map issues (mi home app) does good with the no go zones and so far battery has been good.

i dont use the mop function as its not really a effective mopping method (dragging wet cloth doesnt really clean anything) and using any kind of cleaning agent damages the plastic water container as i learned the hard way with the other roborock i have. all in all i love it and the self emptying feature and i dont have any issues with it like others have had in the comments section.

and for those saying roborocks are better my s50 roborock is habing that damn error 13 charging problem that is periodically occouring. cleaned the charging pads and dock, changed the battery and still has that issue sometimes. seen threads about it needing a new resistor/capactior but i dont really know how to do that. moral of the story they are cheap vacuums and sometimes they have faults but it is what it is

another happy owner here apart from the battery issue. I do vacuum daily and mop twice a week though so that's roughly 500 cycles (it lasted just over a year on mine) before the battery got too weak to complete a single run on a full charge. Cheap 3rd party batteries and consumables aplenty on aliexpress so easy to extend life of the robot.

    Battery crap.
Mop function is underwhelming at best.
Hopefully y’all have a better experience with this vendor over my experience with Panmi.

Dead battery after 10 months. Returned for a full refund. Avoid.

  • I’ve replace both wheels and battery after 12 months seems to be working ok now
