I've got a US trip coming up in a month so this would be handy for booking multiple attractions and offsets our crappy exhange rate!I booked 4 people on a single booking approx. $580 and came back quickly with a $98 tracked cashback
mine was for NZ, so I booked and paid in NZD and used my no fees credit card to get a better exchange rate compared to having Viator do the conversion
Please can you expand on this? If I am in AUD and want to book a tour in another country, should I put the price on the Viator website in AUD, USD or the country that I am doing the tour in to get the best price and no conversion?
My understanding is tours will be priced in the currency of their respective currency, if you pay in this currency then currency conversion will be handled by your credit card. Otherwise Viator will convert to AUD at their determined FX rate. I've always found it better to use credit card conversion rather than rates for Viator, Paypal, etc.
I booked last night but have not tracked yet. Not sure how long does it take to track the cashback. It showed in Click History though.
I just booked a 2 day disneyland ticket, 3 minutes later it showed up in my account as pending and got an email too. $310 cashback, nice!
My family have had very bad experiences trying to get cash back from viator… especially on big purchases. It seems they all get tracked … yet it then gets rejected by viator.
Does this work with Reserve Now, Pay Later bookings?
