    Have never ordered BWS.

They have sign up for an account to get $10 off first order (specifies it must be first order - and I believe it is a code to enter). So I can only assume it will fail on the second point above (No cahsback on 'Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.').

Also, what's the deal with excluding Northern Territory? Really big marketing fail bordering on being perceived as racist. Are we to assume that this has something to do with all the news stories of aboriginal people causing trouble in Northern Territory? 'We can't give them alcohol'. That's the first thing that comes to my mind. They have not given any other explanation. The Northern Territory Exclusion is both on the 'Register Account $10 Off' and the Cashrewards Deal. There are some stores in NT (17 according to search on their website),

I love a good 2am rant as much as the next person but the self-imposed dry areas and, quite frankly, incredibly unique system NT has for buying and drinking alcohol makes it incredibly difficult for a business like BWS to provide legal delivery to that territory.

      • -1

It wasn't a rant. Just an observation. The Northern Territory Exclusion does not impact me, but the coupon code one does.

They still have stores in NT, and they have online ordering, but they don't want to have offers applied to them because then it could be seen as them encouraging the drinking and causing trouble? An interesting move the company has made. I personally do not think it's required. If someone wants to cause trouble, they will do it with or without an offer.

        • +1

If someone wants to cause trouble, they will do it with or without an offer.

Agreed, but statistically they will be more confident and more likely to cause trouble after tearing through a goon bag

NT has a legislated floor price on alcohol. BWS's standard prices presumably comply, but once the cashback is taken into account, cheap items might be under the floor price. Given the small market involved (people in NT who use cashback on alcohol), it's probably not worth the company's effort setting up a special system to exclude low cost items from cashback, so they just set a blanket exclusion.

          • -6

            @pollopollo: Interesting.

Well, a tip for their marketers, they should have asterisk that explains the exclusion is because of that. Not just leave it to people wondering why.

Pfft, people gave me down votes on the original post. Hopeless.

EDIT: even this post got a down vote in the first 3mins…. God trolls.

            • +2

@random12: It most certainly was a rant and nobody cares.

            • @random12: Not everything in life needs an asterisk. Nobody owes you an explanation. If you want to know why something is the way it is, research it.

              • -3

@AaronR: Am I saying that everything needs an asterisk? (That's called a strawman).

It kinda does need an asterisk when you are excluding certain parts of the population for no particular reason. There is a complex near where I live that is all public housing. How would it look if a large company made an offer, and specifically said 'No people from the poor part of town'?

I can imagine you would be difficult to work with. Best practice is full transparency, especially when it comes to things that have a potentially negative reputational impact.

Best practice would be have a sentence explaining the rationale. But you can be a fool and say 'duh, just research it man….'.

How could I research it. Until the comment by pollopollo above, I did not realise they have specific floor prices.

                  Best practice is full transparency

I agree. For full transparency, @random12 messaged me just now accusing me of negging their comments and called me a troll. The only comment I have negged is this one I am replying to after he was dumb enough to accuse me of something I didn't do. One can +1 without having to -1.

And we all know @random12 negged this comment 🙃

@kerfuffle: How do you know that it wasn't AaronR?

                    • @random12: People who can't put two and two together: @random12

You have motive to neg my comments by sending abusive messages.

Once again, you are accusing people without any substantial evidence, unlike me where I have evidence of you abusing me via private message. You think you would have learnt your lesson already …

                      • @kerfuffle: lmao wild. Homie needs to put his phone down. Facebook done gone broked his brain.

To save yourself a seizure, don't look at his post history.

My last two transactions with BWS have not tracked - one was through cashrewards and one through shopback - have sent an enquiry re both and not heard back from either - i think the problem is with BWS?

    • +1

Use their apps, shopback tracks everything now.
Cashrewards there are certain sellers that never track ie lego store.

    • +2

Me too. Both on the respective app.

Gonna give the plug in a go today. If also fail then BWS is dead to me. DEAD.

      • +1

so im not the only one miso - everything else tracks - just not BWS

      • +1

Cashback successful on chrome via plug in.

        Margaritas this weekend at mine

    • They always track for me but sometimes get denied for no reason then have to chase it up.

  • BWS clearance items are weird
Last week, a few items on clearance were well priced….. you'd think they were running out the stock.
This week, all back to full pre discounted price, not on clearance

    • sometimes they clear old bottles for new ones. ive noticed that especially with groceries

  • Why do I keep getting error message on sign in:

When hitting confirm on the order I get a spinning circle that has been like that for 5m. I have been charged and got confirmation email/sms already. This happened on my last order and tracking didn't work. Anyone else getting the same issue lately. Have never had this issue ordering from BWS before until the last week.

    • yes thats what happened to me on the last 2 orders that didnt track both with cashrewards and shopback

    • Same happening to me now too, spinning circle indefinitely although received the confirmation email from BWS that order has been placed.

Hmm…. not liking this. Any advice anyone to enforce the Cashrewards?

Edit - Clicked on the spinning cirlce to open a new tab and it gave me the order details, took a screenshot of that with the Cashrewards extenstion visibile to no doubt fight the claim later. Bit dissapointing and frustrating

      • I think it's likely a bws issue and the tracking never gets a confirmed purchase as the page just loads forever.
@tightarse might be able to hit up bws to see if anything weird is happening on their servers and shed some light on it

    • Mine has done the same on the last two orders. I cancelled the first but might collect this one and fight for it.

    • I found adguard was blocking the page loading correctly, switching that off allowed the page to load at least, but the next order i did still didnt track. they all used to but not any more.

    • Official word from support my claim has been denied

  • Prosecco eligible?

    • +2

      Yes; it's not champagne.

  • Any cheap sprit deals ?

    • Roku gin $64?

  • Tried to add a credit card, but it keeps bringing me back to the checkout page. Weird

  • Didnt track again. Now cashrewards support claiming I used BWS app and not fixing.

This is the last time for BWS.
