Yeah, I posted the last one but since it never had an expiry date on it I just took a guess.
:)
Still, fantastic deal.Delivery is 1st November if anyone is interested.
Not Full HD but at $200 you can't complain.
y u no FHD
And 100hz
No Audio out?
most of the new TVs only have digital out, saves building in a DAC, however, if they got speakers, i wouldn't have thought it would be much more of an issue to put in a headphones port…
preorder? when is delivery?
"Delivery is 1st November if anyone is interested."
:PThe site says 25th Oct but 1st Nov is probably more realistic.
hows kogan's quality???
Viewable Angle
(H) 160 x (V) 150I haven't seen a TV with viewing angles like that before……
has any1 used kohan before??
Can someone tell me, one of Mr kogan's minions perhaps, why sellers of tvs are alternating between centimetres and inches in describing the size of screens. Inches went out in 19freaking66. There are no other products that use the ancient imperial measures- why tvs?
I had to get to a tape measure to see how large 32 inches is.
I'm no rep but it'll be whatever makes the TV sound sexc.
Inches makes it sound bigger.
:Perrr, really? 32 inches is 81 cm, doesn't the number in cm make it sound bigger?
good point
Inches makes it sound bigger.
Isn't that backwards logic though? Doesn't "81" sound bigger than "32"?
EDIT: Beaten. By the time I Googled what 32" is in cm, Scratch snuck in before me.
Yeah, but people know inches are bigger than cms, with that and the vast majority of people with terrible math they prob think 32" is like, 400 cms or something.
If you just said 32 or 81, 81 is bigger. If you said 32 inches or 81 cms the inches sounds bigger.
…or is that just me?
oh god, I hadn't thought of that, but you're right, people are retarded.
I had to get to a tape measure to see how large 32 inches is.
Lol whoa! Well hellllllohhhh there, big boy! ~flutters eyelashes~ =)
*Yes, yes, I know, I know.. peurile humour at its worst. I just can't help it though.. sue me. ;P
HaHAha, I so wanted to make that joke as well.
:P
Ha ha ha ha- stop it!
Expected dispatch date: 25 Oct 2012
So if you feel like waiting a month and a half for a television…
I've mentioned it twice already in the above comments.
:P
yuk only 720P
at normal viewing distance - as far as TVs go, it doesn't make a difference, now if your going to use it as a computer monitor… that's a different matter.
Yep, what he said:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimum_HDTV_viewing_distance
http://cdn.overclock.net/4/40/4070c11a_resolution_chart.jpeg
What that chart essentially says is that with a 32" screen the you can't tell a visible difference between 720p and 1080 at anything further away than about 9 feet, which is average viewing distance. The further away you go from the screen the less impact a higher resolution has.
Free shipping at Kogan today only, makes this $20 cheaper. Despite Kogan's bad repution for poor service and poor quality, $200 for a 32" LED LCD with PVR functions is still a pretty good deal if it's for the kids, bedroom, an extravagant photo frame, or whatever…..
EDIT: Free shipping does not apply to this TV since its ship date is not today, ugh, oh well.
interesting, I thought it's a dupe but turns out the old post is expired.
