doesn't matter where it's grown, as long as its fresh and not stale. in my experience, woollies and coles nuts are atrocious. not fresh in the slightest. i buy all my nuts from a local middle eastern shop, who package it themself, and it's MILES fresher than coles/woollies.
Yes, i said miles. I measured it myself.
Cheaper than Aldi too.
1kg for $9 at HF as well
I can't be the only one with a local Italian grocery that sells Australian shelled walnuts for $10kg pretty much year round. Almonds are usually the same price.

That price is nuts!
Is this price online only? not at real shop?
You can get actual Australian grown walnuts from at least Woolworths. Often goes on special. Product: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/749540/woo…
Can also get Australian grown peanuts from Coles (but never seen an equivalent at Woolworths). Buy Australian (If you can… please)!
