  • Thanks for posting a deal, but can you advise how your DA kit is better than this one? (Ignoring the microfibre difference)

  • Can someone please advise where one can get hands on learning experience with car detailing / polishing? Thanks.
Yes I know lots of vids on Utube

YT has been a great resourse for me. I'm not a professional, but I've had plenty of jobs where friends/family and work mates have been more than happy to pay well for polishing… all my knowledge has come from YT and practice on my own cars.

I think it's Car Craft Auto Detailing in Melbourne who provides in house training.

      • Thanks mate unfortunately not in Melb. Any big risk of stuffing up the paint for beginners? DA polishers are the way to go for low risk option I read. Finally any recommendations on polishers and compounds? Thank you!

Hi mate! If you're Victoria based, we hold Detailing Workshops here at Waxit Car Care at our warehouse in Keilor Park with Sandro running the courses (owner of the Car Craft Auto Detailing Youtube Channel).

If you're interested I would take a look at the link below and if you have any questions don't hesitate to email or call us :)

  • @Savvy I use the Meguiars compound and polish. Careful with the compound though. Start with the least aggressive options first and slowly step it up… each car will be different. I’ve never had an issue with burn through. You want to keep as much clear coat as possible so start slow.

  • Been using Shine Mate for years, never any issues, good units.

  • even at $369 it is still a joke.

that's a $35 ozito polisher at best. 500ml of compounds doesn't cost $150+ each GTFO

Wasn't aware ozito did dual actions

    • ozito don't even make DA's like this, shinemate have been making pro grade polishers for years. You clearly don't know wtf your talking about. gtfo

lmao, pro grade polisher. now that is hilarious. i have pro grade left handed toilet paper i can sell you.

this looks like a polisher from the 80's

this is nothing more then a relabelled chinese product you can get cheap.

        • They are common place in many professional detailing shops. You clearly have no idea what your talking about. Best save your keystrokes for subject matter your not completely inept in.

          • @Vent89: lol, you must be the owners boyfriend. u sure are cuffing his nuts tight.

polishers are yes like the makita 900w, 1200w, 18v, etc…, but this polisher they are selling is not a "pro" polisher. it is a cheapo chinese polisher, a sucker is born every minute.
