That is an older version. Anker in their infinite wisdom gave 2 different generations of product the same model name. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14194616/redir
Thanks, really confused me there for a second
Care when purchasing. The max output for the USB C ports is 45w.
any that do 65w out on one port?
theres heaps of cheapo ones, im struggling to find a decent one under $100 though

Does this plug into a wall ?
Figure 8 cable
How does it compare to this UGREEN one, which seems like it can do 65w for one USB-C, rather than be limited to 45w?

UGreen has faster single port charging as you noted, but is a lot chunkier (vertically oriented ports rather than horizontal) - which is arguably the best feature of the Anker charger.
Neither of them does Samsung 45W Super Fast Charge 2.0, if that is important to you (probably shouldn't be, since it doesn't really make that much difference in the scheme of things - only in limited circumstances). The 100W 3x usb-c version of the UGreen claims to do it: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BXKFCBCF?ref=emc_p_m_5_i
Cool thanks, funnily enough I plan to mount this vertically anyway.
Is this good as a USB hub at all
No, this is purely a charger. It has no data capabilities at all.
This is not that kind of hub, Slutty Bianca.
I bought one of these prior to a trip to Southeast Asia. I love that you can swap the figure 8 (C7) cable which negates the need to use plug adapters while traveling.
Initially I wasn't sure about the 45w port being enough to charge my M1 Macbook, but it is enough to keep it at 100%.
Highly recommend this charger.
