Nope
$5.37.5/movie + bonus discs.
That's a damn good price for blu-rays!But you have to also be aware that only the more recent books are actually in bluray resolution, the first four disks/books are all DVD quality but on bluray disc. The best surround audio for these first four, is standard dolby digital 5.1, the fifth movie adds Dolby trueHD and it's only the final two books(3 movies) which adds the options of DD trueHD and DTS Master audio, this is the audio quality normally associated as coming with bluray.
Not an issue for those listening to the movies through their TV speakers. We bought these from amazon.uk prior to Christmas, I think they were a bit cheaper then, but still an excellent deal.I'd have to disagree.
The first films might be not as pin sharp as the later ones, but they aren't DVD quality at all - there's 1080p resolution there. Similarly, the audio is LPCM 5.1, not DD - which is quite enough for most home theatre setups.

About the same price as when it was released last year http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/53430
I bought it last time.
Only watched the first one so far. Interesting that there were no extras, not even a menu - just stick the disc in and the movie starts playing. (deathly hallows one and 2 come with an extra disc, so does Half-Blood Prince, though). Keep in mind that all these movies will probably be re-released in super-special editions eventually.
Quality and price are great, though.
Hmm, well I bought it too (I'm the original op). It certainly has extras on mine, deleted scenes, making of type things, games, trailers, etc.
You do realise on many Blu-Rays they launch directly into the main feature and you have to press menu to get to the Extras - don't you?
Mgowen can't answer you at the moment. He's too busy going through his whole collection, marvelling at the wonders this newfound Menu button reveals. =)

Haha, thanks. No, I had no idea. All Blu-rays I'd watched so far went into a menu, some with previews first, just like most DVDs.
Why won't Amazon just take my PayPal money! Ah well, no impulse buy for me :(
Totally agree with you, but I suspect it's because they don't want to get ripped off by paypal fees.
Bargain!! Almost a third of the price of the Australian version (8 movies, but only 10 discs) - RRP $119.95 ($89.96 trade).
Now THIS is the collection… I've been critical of previous packs in previous years with 'ultimate' packs of only the first 4, 5, 6 movies…. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU BOTHER!!! If I was into blurays, this would be on my mantle, errr movie shelf :)
Been waiting for a good deal on this for a while…cheers
This is close to $45 (28.97 GBP = 44.8430 AUD) but still great deal.
So I take it this is will be shipped for free?
Also does anyone know if this collections has the menus or sililar to mgowen's collection?
Not shipped for free.. but the shipping is less than the VAT, which they take off, so the total price is lower.

Couldn't figure out how to link directly to the Bourne Trilogy sold by Amazon ;(
I love how cheap Blu-ray is overseas.
What a shame that our local retailers can't even get close to being competitive. I honestly can't remember the last time I bought something from JB or Dick Smith.
Thanks for that. My son would love this for christmas and what a bargain price.
anyone got the blu-ray set delivered yet? it's been 3 weeks already… the last time i ordered from amazon.co.uk only took them 5days to deliver it.. hmmm….
I haven't got mine either… ozbargained?
I got mine today. It gone down in price buy about ten Australian dollars since I ordered though :(
