Uclean Whale Spout Bidet Smart Toilet Seat Pro $305.24 ($298.05 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Briseekit

AUGG15AUGG17

For those who are unable to afford a Toto (i.e. me lol). Here is an alternative!
I got the promo newsletter from this eBay shop, they have a range of items that are on sale, and this toilet bidet caught my eye.
Lowest price I've ever seen. $298 with eBay plus! The only downside is that it doesn't come with a remote or a control panel. We have to either use the buttons on the side of the toilet seat or through Mi Home app.

Below are the features I got from the listing

  • Constructed with Durable and Strong 99mm Super-thin Material
  • Innovative Side Panel for Controls
  • Smart Heated Seat
  • Instantly Heated Washing Water at Selected Temperature
  • Cover-all Washing with Aerated Massaging Action
  • Warm Air-drying
  • Anti-bacterial Effect and Self-sanitizing Cleansing
  • Specially Designed Washing Function for Women
  • Translucent Housing of Water Filter for Visual Inspection

Mine stopped working after 2.5 yrs this week.. There are other who reported similar issues around 2 yr time frame.. So dyor

My research suggests I should expect this to last ~2 yrs.

It's a consumer grade product, relatively inexpensive, probably not going to be installed by a plumber, has moving parts and has electrics dealing with water. I'm not sure you can expect much more.

      • If that's the case then would rather get a unheated $40 cheapie or spend a little more and get the one from Costco

If this is the case, then I would say don't buy it - cost over time seems poor, not built to last, ends up as yet more landfill. Find something better and/or spend more to get a better cost vs life product.

so what your saying is, you get what you pay for?

    • touchwood mine's still going strong after 3 years.

I love its design that takes up less space than other types (and you honestly don't need to look at the button each time).

Not sure why you need a remote or an app. I only need to use 2 buttons - wash and blow dry.

    • 3 years before mine started breaking down and eventually died at 3.5

  • My poor axx ** cries ** in toilet paper..

  • Any feedback on Cefito? Seems cheaper than this..

My first one lasted ~2 years and got a second one. Did solid work for the price.

I imagine you did a lot of solids in that time.

Is this a rebranded xiaomi whale spout?

  • Does this require electricity🔌?

  • Why does a bum washer need wifi?

  • Been through two of these both lasting between 18 and 24 months. Got refunded in the end. Absolute trash.

      Got refunded in the end.

      Sounds uncomfortable.

  • I had an OG Xiaomi that lasted about a year, and one of these as a replacement that's lasted for about three years, knock on wood.

Make sure you get one that's rated for Australian electrical systems, as I don't think the imported direct from China ones are.

This is an imported product from China. It is not watermark certified therefore plumbers cannot install this, nor do I think this product will last because Aussies have higher water pressure systems compared to China. Reviews are suggesting this product has a water pump failure post 2 years. Xiaomi previously had recalls due to faulty bidets, so take that with a grain of salt. Kogan and Bunnings have good budget alternatives. That's just my 2 cents.
