Cool stuff! Just pop the price in the title before you get yelled at by a bunch of people.

    • +1

      And the store

    • And we probably don’t need to know about Amazon’s “lowest price in 30 days”.

    • +11

I go running with these with no issues… wtf are you doing?

      • +1

Either my ear canal is really large or yours are really small.

        • +3

is this when saying "grow a smaller pair" sounds appropriate?

          • +1

@jianh: Haha that was brilliant 😂
Love getting down votes from Apple fanboys because I’m sharing my experience, (profanity) losers on this site.

            • +1

@Maths Debater: You’re the one who (profanity) lost them, though

            • @Maths Debater: Let's be honest, this isn't a fanboy thing. This is a lack of clear communication. Down voting of similar comments is common in other earphone deals.

      • +2

        Not avoiding drains evidently…

    • +1

Lots of downvotes here - I’m absolutely running with these, doing exercise or walking about but I have found that a wide smile does move them to a shaky location. It is certainly a bit annoying and planning to get buds with actual foam tips after mine conk out/I get a very good deal.

    • bro is the joker 💀

    • not sure whether I am abnormal but it fits me really well

I hate that we live in a world where $239 for in-ear headphones is considered a good price.

  • I never understood how these fit in people's ears without silicon inserts

Are everyone ears the exact same size to fit these? I don't get it?

Why don't they have those different size silicon bits so you can tailor to your own individual ear size?

    • -3

Airpods have 4 different size in the box.

    • I think the Pro version has the grommets

      • +2

        lol grommets

    • +1

The same way EarPods and standard AirPods stay in peoples ears.

I agree the silicon inserts definitely assist though.

      • +9

Not sure for the others, but I have an opposite experience
most silicon insert (including AirPod Pro /Pro 2) cannot stay in my ear for long time
        it will eventually drop out

For Airpod 1/2/3 they can stay in my ear for long time, and feels very comfortable
I believe how Airpod works is it is "hanging" on the ear rather than inserting

        • believe how Airpod works is it is "hanging" on the ear rather than inserting

So does that mean they don't seal the ears? So there's no real noise cancelling? Doesn't that severely affect the quality of the audio?

          • +5

@Odin: Airpods are not designed for noise cancelling, which the Airpod pro is designed for (with ANC)
Without silicon seal, noice isolation is pretty much wont exist
However I personally dont see much issue in audio quality though

          • @Odin: The AirPods 1st and 2nd Gen (not sure about 3rd Gen) have practically no noise cancelling at all. Doesn't affect the sound quality in a negative way though, that's how they're designed. A different sound signature to your traditional in ear silicon tipped earbuds, but they don't sound bad by any means.

  • I am not sure if this happens to anyone else or just me.

I noticed for Apple airpods bought from Amazon, the warranty seems to be off for a couples of months when checking on Apple website. I checked with Amazon CS, they immidiately send me the replacement. I could tell they were all brand new and unopened but their warranty were way off (activated before purchase date) for both.

Apparently, I talked to Apple and they told me they could fix if I could provide the invoice from Amazon. I decided to buy one from OW and the warranty check via Apple showing I had ~ 14 months of warranty. Just not sure what happened to Amazon stocks.

You can adjust purchase date on Apple support website if you have a receipt.

Interesting that this deal already has as many upvotes as the deal last week where they were available for $207.20.

Maybe because OP failed to list the Magsafe case in the title of that deal?

    • +2

Maybe because more likely to have people with Amazon than eBay plus?

$30 diff is still a fare bit though

      • Ah yes, eBay plus I didn't even realise!

    • +1

There's even a far better offer hidden within that post

    • I ran out of space in the title heading but yeh was genuinely surprised the Amazon deal received more attention than a cheaper option :/

  • Got these recently. NB; they're not like the 2nd generation when using the tap feature. There's a little button you press on the actual headphone.

Also spatial sound. Annoying. I turned it off after realising what it actually does.

Interesting deal, perhaps a USB-C case refresh to come with ihphone event next month ?

  • How long before Apple re-release these but with a USB-C case?

    • About a month

  • Would officeworks price beat this?

    • They have a number of reasons to say they are not identical products to refuse to do price match. E.g. We can't match the barcode/part number/model with our database.

  • I never thought these would be worth the money but I got a pair as a gift and now I don’t think I would go without them.
I like the open ear style as I can hear the world around me so don’t have to take them out to talk to people.

  • I found these were way too big for my ears, yet the 1st and 2nd gen. fit perfectly.

  • I use these everyday for work. I'm heard clearly and I hear everyone else clearly.
Running with them is no issue at all, they stay in my ears no problem and sound fantastic.
The noise cancelling is incredible, it blocks out trains, traffic, and even children and all their "creativity" quite well.
