  how do we know how long it would take to pickup international traveller? If plane scheduled to arrive at 6:30am, I would probably try to get there at 7. I wouldn't know how long I would need to wait. What happens if you overstay or understay your booking?

    You'll never get penalised for understaying - you won't get a refund though.

    If you absolutely need to park and collect your passenger from arrivals, the below T&C are worth considering:

    For online bookings which have a duration of 3 hours or less, your booked stay duration begins from the time of entry. If you stay over your booked duration, 'drive-up' rates will be charged.

    For online bookings which have a duration of 3 hours or less, your booking will be void if you arrive more than 2 hours earlier or later than your nominated booking time. 'Drive-up' charges apply upon entry.

    Would recommend booking entry one hour after you plan to pick the passenger up, which makes the grace period -1hr/+3hr (far higher chance their flight is delayed than arriving more than an hour early). Use FlightAware or Flightradar24 to monitor the aircraft, and only enter the carpark after their flight lands. Inbound immigration, baggage and customs at Sydney rarely takes more than 45 minutes.

    Having said that, the real OzB move is getting your passenger to call or message (via free airport wifi) once they get through customs - and you won't need to pay at all.

    Monitor their inbound flight and arrive at the back streets of Novotel Sydney International Airport around 15 minutes after their flight touches down. Once you get word they've made it through customs, you can drive to the Public Pickup Area (1-2 minutes away) which is free for 15 minutes.
