Yep- woolies bought them upon collapse and this has replaced their old metro60 app.
Interesting, not sure what their plan is to make it profitable now, but this may just be a plan to make a loss leader delivery grocery service to compete with uber/dash/log's grocery offerings
It's just a rebrand of Metro60 so it doesn't use the old Milkrun model.

One of two things would need to happen:
A Woolworths Metro1 would need to open up around Eastwood. MILKRUN orders are fulfilled by Woolworths Metro stores, so it would not help if there is no nearby Woolworths Metro (and it looks like the three nearest Woolworths Metros are the North Turramurra, West Pennant Hills and Boronia Park stores).
Woolworths would need to enlarge the delivery radius around each Woolworths Metro, which would then make it harder for them to stick to their marketing (i.e. having groceries delivered within 60 minutes).

Woolworths Metro is not to be confused with the Woolworths MetroGo convenience stores attached to a number of Ampol service stations (aka Ampol Woolworths MetroGo). Woolworths Metro is operated by Woolworths Group, whereas Ampol Woolworths MetroGo is operated by Ampol under a licensing agreement with Woolworths Group and has nothing to do with MILKRUN. I mention this, because Google lists a Woolworths Metro in North Ryde, even though that appears to actually be an Ampol Woolworths MetroGo. ↩

Terrible experience with MILKRUN so far.
Weeks ago the delivery guy was sent to a different address and couldn’t find us.
Today, the delivery guy was delivering a different order to us under a different person’s name so we didn’t get any of what we ordered.
I’m now trying to connect to an agent to sort it out.
What a disaster this app is.
