Not as good as the eBay plus deal from a week or two ago but still fantastic value.

Probably not as good as xreal air for support etc but at this price definetly better than the 500 Lu's for the xreal

  • who needs reality anyway?

    • If it is good it will be nice to save space on a big monitor when I'm on the road for work

      • Did you buy one?

Please post review when you have time.

        • Will do! I did buy one

i do recommend getting a silicone nose bridge (amazon or aliexp.) other then that they are pretty cool bit of tech 😎

          • @markdownhunter: Nice thanks.

So now you've had it a week, what would you say the best use case is for you?

Also are they comfortable on your nose for extended periods of use?

            • +1

@andresampras: i like to watch videos (youtube and tv shows) in bed and in general anywere where my neck is bending down. its nice to look straight and see things without looking down always, i was waiting for a appointment and threw them on was pretty good. I personally dont use the train but it would definitely be a good use case there too.

the original nose bridge it comes on for my nose was not quite comfortable enough but a cheap silicone u shaped tip which i found on amazon makes it allot more comfortable. so far ive seen about 1.5 hr video and didnt get a sore nose with the silicone tip(10 bucks on amazon or less on aliexp). the only thing i can see between the cheaper air and the other more expensive version is more includes tips and a physical brightness wheel. personally i dont think the much higher price is good bang for buck. for sub 300 bucks and a extra $10 silicone u tip nose bridge is the way to go. good bang for buck in that combination

Interesting concept would like to see if you have purchased what your experience is.

    • Yeah will let you know

    • With eBay plus, was a good deal

  • Prefer to get the Rokid Max with the Rokid Station to be honest.

I've been looking at a set of glasses like these lately but can't seem to be able to work out which ones i want. I don't need huge fancy features so at this price it's almost worth pulling the trigger. Providing they work great with my ipad via usb c and i can watch netflix and stuff like that i'd be happy.

    • I can't wait to try dex on my galaxy with it

  • I bought these in the last sale if people have any questions.

    • Tell me about them! What are they like?
How is the size? Would they be good for productivity? How is magnetic cable? Too loose?

    • share your experience please :-) was looking a nreal air since a while but budget.. any insight on eye strain when using as PC monitors.

can it work as 2x 4k monitors :-)

So a few things with them, first off these are not the ones with a magnetic cable, they are the ones that are fixed onto the side of the glasses but quite well made with a thick cable. They work really well with my z fold 4 where it is pretty much plug and play and I have an adaptor for any HDMI device.

For my eyes at least the edge of the screen is pretty distorted and looking at the outer edges causes a decent bit of eye strain, the screen looks nice but I don't know about replacing 2 monitors with it, it is much rather suited for when outside of the house. One thing that no one mentioned was heat generated from the displays at the top of the glasses, they get quite hot after a bit of use. I do really like using them but it is a bit of a gen one product at heart.

one last thing, the speakers in them are hopeless.

        • Cool as! I will use it with my tozo earbuds hehe. Will be interesting to see the edge of the screens when I get them.

I'm often on the road with a laptop for work so hopefully it helps in some cases

Can't wait to try games on it too!

        • Thanks for that info. Had purchased a pair but after your thoughts I cancelled my order. Will keep looking at the nreal and the rokids.

          • @krammis76: Look I don't regret it but all the YouTube videos I watched on it didn't even bring up these simple facts on it, glad I could help

        • So whats you opinion of watching HD movies on them, is it like a cinema screen and can u see the screen pixels at all ?

          • @AndyPandy: The quality is very good where you can't see the pixels but the screen, it doesn't quite have the depth of a cinema screen more like a 150inch tv

        • Hey mate you mentioned that you had a hdmi adapter for these as well. Don't supposed you could let me know what one it is?

            • @GooseLord: Thanks mate just grabbed one of those cables. I ended up getting the newer version of these glasses from amazon. They were more expensive but they have a great returns policy so if they don't end up working as well as i hope they will be easy to return. Thanks again!

  • Xreal glasses are heaps better but more expensive.
