For ~$16 a pop this continues to be a great deal. Recently beat Diablo 2 for the first time and thought it was a genuinely amazing game. Had more fun with a 20 year old game than I do with most recent ones lol. Playing through D3 now and having a lot of fun with it.
Sale ends August 27 on Switch, August 30 on PS4
If I were to get one, which one would you recommend?
Honestly I recommend just grabbing the Prime Evil Collection.
D3 by itself is the same price as the collection which includes both games, and D2 by itself is only ~$10 cheaper than the bundle.
D2 - Old school ARPG with a really great classic feel to it, pretty challenging but not too difficult on your first playthrough, healthy level of challenge
D3 - More modernized "arcade-y" style ARPG, easier throughout the main game and more casual compared to D2, but have heard the endgame is challenging.
I wish they did a bundle of Diablo IV + these old ones
Me too - its so expensive on PC. But I got pushed to buy it by me Mrs and friends.
As revenge, I whine about things when we play online - I surprised they haven't muted me yet :-D
D2 is just a chore to play on Switch. Sorting inventory and trading is awful.
Played D3 to death but I really enjoyed it on pad. The arcadey gameplay suits it.
Is there anywhere to get D4 cheaper than blizzard?
If playing on PC buy Blizzard gift card from JB with 10% discounted giftcard etc
For PS5/Xbox you could get used one around $78 mark at Amazon (Was like $10 cheaper on Amazon new but looks like price is same as JB now so with $10 perk maybe)
Good deal. D2 was the best! Maybe im just remembering nostalgia.
I didnt really like D3 that much. But I do play the new D4 which I am liking better.

D2 was incredible 20 years ago.
I've beaten it enough times though, don't really have the time to grind it again.
