  I've always found the more complex these games become, the less understanding you have of what your actions actually do… means less fun. Best fun with a football manager I ever had was on the Amiga. I doubt that will change.

  Worse than Crack!! This takes over your life, have spent a few hundred hours getting Crewe Alexandria into the upper reaches of the Championship. Just like the folks that roll up each week to the pokies with the rent money I'll be 1st in line for this one, knowing full well that I am wasting my life in the process!

    It is much better than FIFA manager. Much more in depth, more challenging, etc. It is the best football management game in the world by a long, long way. Comparing FIFA Manager and FM is like comparing NBA 2k to NBA Live if you've read those comparisons.

  i am thinking to get the FM 2013 handheld version (if they going to release it). anyone did try the handheld version for 2012? are the any different between PC and handheld version?

  Its been many years since I've played Football Manager, its a really good series. Strange though my favourite football manager sim was on the Amstrad CPC 464. Here is a link to a Youtube video of it:
