My Favorite noodle pack! Half Price. I stocked up.
Much better taste than the regular and does not burn your mouth off!

I find it less spicy actually
More "actual" flavour and less spice
These are probably the most flavourful noodles you can get short of making your own broth
Still burns my mouth, i'm a baby :(
Is it the noodel? or the packet of spices that makes it 1.80 per pack?
Neither. It's the brand name
Premium is the new Black, it's also black. At least they didn't pick Purple.
It’s the same noodle they just make it black and put premium label on it
i prefer the red personally but each to their own
Did not justify the extra cost above normal red. But have to try to know.
I prefer the regular red shin ramyun and adding a slice of cheese and mixing it into the broth, makes the broth thick and creamy, much better than shin black imo
Mixing a raw egg through the broth after cooking also a good option to make it creamy.
What is with the awful Woolworths thumbnails lately?
Just remember to not put in too much water. It dilutes the broth, and ends up tasting like sh it.
There are instructions on the packet which do clearly state how much water to use
Yes I know, but most people seem to ignore it… e.g. I've seen people put in way too much water, and then drain it before eating, and then wondering why it tastes like sh it.
I tried the black for the first time today they are good but I prefer the red. I don't think it's worth the premium price over the red in my opinion.
After reading these comments I'm going to buy a black pack tommow and try. I've always just bought the red packets because I thought the premium black label pack would be hotter. We'll see if I agree with you after I try it.
For my store the best before date was 14 September 2023
Thanks for this info. Price marked down probably due to short date.
With this price, I'd recommend buying from Asian supermarket, heaps of options for cheaper
At half price thought it was worth a try of the black. It's kind of meh to me compared to the red. And twice the price of the red ($18 regular for 20 at Costco).
I do make some changes/adds when I make the red which makes it better:
Excellent and good spicy kick.
black is the one with beef stock . nothin to do with spicy level right
