What is the ETA? Pick up.

    • +2

We looking at 3-5 business days the maximum :)

      • 5 Business days over and still at "Parts reserved" stage.

        • Hi :) Would you mind sharing the order number?

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

  • Great price!! Just bought the Enigma deal other wise I would have gone for this.

Still waiting to hear back about my hard drive issue. Received an email from Rick on 2nd August. I replied the next day.

    • Hi Heal,

The Support team updated me this morning that they've issued you the auspost return label, so it would be great if you could arrange the return of the SSD asap.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • SSD or whole computer? My son is just about to start his HSC trials and then into his HSC. Main hard drive works fine.

Why am I hoping for intel deals? What is wrong with me??

  • For people who don't speak AMD, what's that processor equivalent to Intel? Cheers.

    • +1

      13th gen, i5.

      • -2

        6 cores vs 20? What

        • You fell for their marketing.

6 Performance cores. Rest are efficiency.

          • -1

            @The Value: not quite - 6 + 8 is still better then just 6
12 threads vs 20 as well

            • +1

@botchie: It might be better but it's still the same equivalent.

            • @botchie: Just buy a 3900x 12/24 then…

            • +2

@botchie: For gaming the E cores aren't used so they are equivalent. If you're doing something that can utilise all the CPU cores then the 13600K is the better option.

              • +2

                @Hank Scorpion:

If you're doing something that can utilise all the CPU cores

What's a couple of examples? Video processing? High res multi-layer photoshop?

            • @botchie: E cores/threads are irrelevant for gaming.

    • +1

For gaming or productivity? The difference is huge now, last gen you can easily compare Ryzen 5000 series vs intel 12 gen, not current gen.

  • Hi Team, looks like a great deal!
Was wondering if we could request custom upgrades to this build? Such as a 7900x

  • Yeah I'm waiting for a similar Intel deal too. Been along time between for an rtx4070ti Intel deal on this site, or maybe I've just been missing them. Starting to get tempted by amd deals but it's alotta dollars and I'm just comfortable with Intel.

  • Extra $240 compare to TF deal: AM5, DDR5 32Gb 6000MHz (1st 20 orders only), tower-cooler upgrade $29, mid-tier parts (known brand & model #), 850W 80+ Gold PSU…has BPC answered your prayers ?

  • Would this be possible to upgrade to a 4080 BPC Technology? Would there be any compatibility issues ie. PSU?

    • 4080 appears to be there as a $499 upgrade. PSU is absolutely fine.

  • 4080 + 6000mhz RAM upgrade for <$2600 is a good deal - I got this exact spec from BPC a month or so again and it’s fantastic.

Very similar recent deal with lots of relevant comments here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/779899

If BPC really have improved their build + shipping times, it’s a great value proposition

107 bucks shipping to Perth … ouch. Techfast is $65.

  • Does anyone know if the CPU has a cooler/needs one?

  • +2

If you want extra storage, I'd probably suggest getting the 'Éxtra Storage' 2tb fast SSD rather than the OS upgrade to a 2tb fast SSD. OS drive upgrade is $129 (2tb fast) versus $149 (2tb fast). The latter may cost you $20 extra, but you'll gain 1tb by retaining the existing OS SSD and adding the 2tb rather than turning 1tb into 2tb. Easy enough to switch the 2tb fast ssd to the OS or even ask them to do it for you.

Don't quote me, but I would suggest BPC is going to give you the same drive in both cases as a 2tb fast ssd. But maybe the rep can clarify.

Have the first 20 orders been sold?

Has anyone ever claimed tax return with a gaming PC but use it for work purposes? If the invoice doesn't show gaming PC it would help to claim no?

    • +1

Personal opinion, so take this with a grain of salt. I suggest seeking a professionals advice.

If you can legitimise the usage e.g. photo/video editing, spreadsheets, word-processing for work/business. Then you can potentially claim, but not the whole lot.

A tax accountant/agent would/should ask what percentage is for personal use and what percentage is for work/business use.

I've claimed gaming speced PCs and Laptops over the years and would claim generally 30%-50% for work/business. I do this with other items like internet.

Note: I do use these items in the above mentioned ways. As I run a home business and work from home for my substantive job.

  • Just ordered so hopefully in the first 20 still

  • Is upgrading to the 7800x3d worth the 400$?

  • What is the equivalent Intel-CPU: i5-12600K ?

Why is the benchmark below ranked the i5-12600K much higher than R5 7600X ?

shows 2299$ for me, did I miss something?

    • expired…cached browser tab 😓

    • Missed out as well. I will contact BPC and see if they are able to honour

      • Did you have any luck? I'm thinking of doing the same

  • -1

Have a 3 year old Techfast PC working fine.

Decided to go with BPC this time as its having better components and 2 year warranty and I am in Melbourne and the shop is nearby.

  • How to claim the Starfield standard?
Is a code supplied with the PC?

    • Well looks like BPC have seen this. I have now been emailed a code from BPC sales. Thanks!

      • No worries :)
