Received an Everyday Rewards email with this offer:

Free Delivery for Everyday Rewards cardholders when you spend $50 or more online.
Simply spend $50 or more in a single transaction on the BIG W website, use promo code EDRFREESHIP50, and enter your Everyday Rewards card number during checkout to receive free delivery anywhere in Australia*. Everything on the site is included – TVs, strollers, small appliances, whatever you need, get it delivered free. This offer is valid between 12:01AM AEST Friday September 7th & 11:59PM AEST Saturday September 8th 2012.

How to redeem:
1. Start shopping and add items to your cart to the value of $50 or more.
2. Once you have finished selecting your items, proceed to checkout.
3. Choose from either 'Buy Now' or 'Online Layby' and click the 'Proceed to checkout' button.
4. Enter code EDRFREESHIP50 in the 'Promotional Vouchers' section and click 'Redeem'.
5. Enter your delivery and billing address details and proceed through to the payment section.
6. A 'Shipping discount' should now be displayed in orange in your order summary. You can now enter your payment details to complete your purchase.

*A small number of remote areas are excluded. Large, Heavy, Oversized or Special Delivery products can not be shipped to certain remote areas including Far North Queensland, Northern WA, Norfolk Island and other Australian island territories. This restriction affects only a small number of items and is the result of the complexity and prohibitive cost associated with delivering bulky products to these locations.

Hopefully useful for people who are planning on spending $50 or more, or have something in mind already, such as:

They can keep their free shipping… I'd rather not sign up to their bogus marketing schemes (Everyday Rewards).

    • Yep, Everyday Rewards = targeted marketing info collector.

Really insulting that the bastards think distracting the customers a bit of "tinsel" now and again would deflect attention from the plainly obvious raison d'etre of this scheme.

  • Same email = free delivery from cellarmasters.com.au with code EDR1D & free delivery from doorbusters.com.au when spending $50 or more (no code given).

Woolworths Mobile Receive 20% off Woolworths Mobile recharge plus a free Woolworths Mobile SIM when purchased in one transaction.^
(This weekend or Saturday only for all of the above)

  • Shipping is always free when you spend over $50. It's always advertised on their website. I was pretty confused when I got this email today with the same code;
    http://www.bigw.com.au/Offer/FreeDeliverySelectedItems

I guess the normal deal includes 'selected items' - maybe you can get free shipping on heavy items that weren't free shipping before?

It's just a way to get people thinking about Big W and looking at their online store, it's not a special deal or anything - and you've just given them free publicity (339 clicks showing so far).

    • Shipping is not always free with orders over $50. I tried ordering some huggies nappies a few weeks ago and they wanted to charge $14 delivery for the nappies despite my total order being over $50.

However, with this code provided by the OP the nappies are delivered free of charge. Thanks OP.
