Can I get recommendations for a Bluetooth receiver? I am wanting to connect my wired headphones to a phone without a headphone jack.

You can't just get an adapter for the USB-C/Lightning port on the phone?

You either want:
something to plug into the phone's charge/data port, which then provides a 3.5mm audio jack, and you plug in your hard-wired headphones into that. Bluetooth not required.
a bluetooth receiver module with 3.5mm audio input jack for your hard wired headphones, turning them into bluetooth headphones. Then activate bluetooth on your phone and pair to it.
One solution is quite simple and doesn't need additional components recharged, but is attached with wires. The other requires separately recharging the transmitter, but gives you separation/freedom from being tethered to the phone.
Not sure what scenario you are really asking about.

Have you considered using a USB adapter? The Apple one is good and only $15. Works with Android phones too.
