Barbie movie? isn't that 20 years ago

I’m not sure what is going on but maybe the marketing is working wonders on us men. There is a weird social pressure to see this stupid Barbie movie. I couldn’t think of many other ways to waste 1.5hrs of my life. I’m just not interested in that crap. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning is also in the cinema and gets 96-97% on Rottentomatoes. Plus of course there’s Oppenheimer.

Oh just checked, there is a new movie lol…

  • I've been using this since last year, no idea the ticketek has more upvotes when that's only for Tuesday sessions.

  • I've also been using this since at least last year.

  • do i have to be student?

    or just student edge member?

    • Found below Q&A on Student Edge website. Dont know how strict but…..
Q: Can I buy Hoyts tickets for my family members, which are not Student Edge members?
A: Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, our Hoyts deal is only valid for current students as Hoyts do check for your student ID upon entry.

      • I've been a member for over a year and not once have I been asked for Student ID…. I see 1 movie (at least) every month.

  • actually $16.5

  • I've just signed up for this, and have clicked the link and tried to book tickets for a Monday or Tuesday but they are all full price. Even for movies that are months old. Any suggestions?

      • There's also Grill'd deal where you buy their meal and get a discounted ticket. I think it's not bad.

    • shopback app currently has $11 adult tickets + fees.

  • Welp time to get on top of this. Thanks for sharing!

  • Unrelated, has anyone figured out the student code for event cinemas this year? The usual code convention is not working
