    the zoom makes it more flexible (better throw), worth a couple of extra bucks, I've got a couple of WF502-B's and their quite floody (no good for playing spotlight!)

  1000 Lumen LOL. I will neg this as it is false advertisement. To get 1000 lumen out of the front will requires more than 3 amps to drive that. It could also melt the circuit if the heat sink not properly done.

      It's power, not voltage.
      It may be just 1 battery, but drained really-really fast.

        A battery cannot supply unlimited current, there is a limit on it's output.

    Theoretical limit of LED is about 300 Lumen,
    1000 Lumen LED Torch normally contain 5 or more of these high powered LED, from the pic its a one LED torch so most likely a 200 Lumen torch

      IF this is a genuine Cree XML-T6, it is indeed capable of 1000 lumens:

      Also, an 18650 battery is perfectly capable of outputting 3amps.

      SO on paper, the torch is feasible, but it may be of lower quality or poor design and suffer from thermal issues and/or excess losses.
