Domino's changed so much…
I'm currently about to use the deal "2 Pizza's and 2 sides" and I remember when you could choose any pizza at no additional cost now all I see is a few pizza's while the rest say "Upgrade" which is a joke and for the sides I would usually add 2 1.25L drinks which never used to cost extra now the best I can add is 2 600ml drinks while the 1.25L drinks is now considered an "Upgrade".
What a joke Domino's has become. Pizza Hut would not charge an Upgrade fee on drinks.
Domino's got rid of the delivery fee and the service fee sure… but in exchange they brought out this garbage Upgrade system in it's place.
It is a joke but I disagree with the “Pizza Hut would not charge an upgrade fee” claim. I don’t know about drinks but I tried the Pizza Hut “2 pizzas and 2 sides” coupon a few weeks ago and it was just as terrible. Almost all the pizzas had upgrade fees and the only sides without upgrade fees were basically garlic bread or a drink.
Not as bad as Domino's tho and yes I've seen the few options on Pizza Hut's website some costing extra but if you look at Domino's… wow.
Pizza Hut Flemington here in Melbourne don't deliver their own Pizza anymore. They abandoned that system several months ago and now depend on a 3rd party delivery service such as DoorDash or Uber Eats to deliver their food and because of that I don't order from them anymore because the food has been getting delivered to me several times warm to cold.
Domino's still delivers their own pizza in my area which is why I still order from them but man… this disgusting upgrade system is terrible. How nobody complains about this is beyond me. If there was an uproar over it they would of abandoned it. So disgusting.
