    Am I understanding it correctly that preordering from Amazon AU seems to have an earlier release date (9th August) compare to JB and HN (16th August)?

      Official release date is the 18th, however Samsung for the last few years has allowed customer pre-orders to be picked up earlier than that date.

      Likewize has started shipping to major retailers in the last few days. ;).

    I ended up preordering through Samsung Edu as just wanted the fold 5 and trade in my old fold 2. Got it for $1364.20 delivered.
