  • $34.70 if you delete duty insurance. Do you think this is needed?

  • I learnt the hard way that if it's not recommended on Dashcamtalk then don't buy it.

    • more info please

      • What do you want to know?

        • What did you learn the hard way? Did you have a crappy dash cam that you regret having as it did not record the accident, didn’t register the number plate, didn’t save a file or just failed to work. There are so many things you “can learn the hard way” regarding dash cams

@Iwantthebestprice: I've bought a couple of dashcms that were garbage, I found out one was reviewed on Dashcamtalk after I bought it and it said the picture gets blurry when it gets hot which is exactly what happened. So since then I always check their reviews first.

On a side note I've had a couple of incidents and the dashcam has saved my arse in regards to proving I wasn't at fault.

@WatchNerd: That’s great - good to know! I currently have a 70mi dash cam and was almost in an accident last week and found out only when I tried to review the recording it didn’t save. So looking for a new dash cam - cheers for sharing the above link

              • @Iwantthebestprice: Did you find out why it didn't record?

I think I bought the same one but yet to install it.

                • @WasBargain: No I had no idea, it said the words of recording captured but when I went into the app an hour later it wasn’t there. I have a 32GB SD card which just continually loop records. Maybe like above it was to cold or to hot who knows. I havnt tested it in Melbourne summer yet so I don’t even know if it will hold up in 40 degree weather..

    • Was this one recommended then?

  • I have azdome m550 and it's a great dash cam. It even comes with the kit which you can hook up to internal fuses and make it run 24/7. Quality is also good and the best part is you don't need to take out memory card to download footage, it has wifi for that.

    • Do you mean this Dash Cam model number is azdome m550? I actually cannot find model number in op's post

  • Thanks OP.

I bought it and got it eventually.

A complete toy and cannot connect wifi at all.

It even does not have a brand and model number.

    Not recommended.

    • I lodged a refund request and was told to just keep it with full refund. Junk.
