  • how long to charge the powerbank to full ? someone recommend to try get a powerbank that has PD feature both in and out

    • +1

It take around 3.5 hours to recharge. Pass through charging is limited at 5V so it would take up to 6 hours if you are charging your devices at the same time. You can charge 3 devices simultaneously though

  • Power Bank 4-Port

4 including the Micro USB input?

How misleading to those that bought this based on your title to only realise 3 are outputs.

    • Specs clearly say “Charge up to three devices simultaneously with Zyron Power bank”

      How is that misleading?

      • Then why not say 3-Port in the title?

        • +2

          But it has 4 ports

          • @ibelievesyd: Good thing we have options everyday of the week.

10000mah/20W PD & QC/2 ports for those looking to shave a few dollars off:

            • @m9: good info
the + about zyron is alot smaller
but that charm has apple input and 2W more and cheaper

              • @CyberMurning:

                zyron is alot smaller

It's not. Charmast is almost 11% smaller:

                Zyron: 89 x 63 x 23mm (0.129L)
                Charmast:" 100.2 x 67 x 17.2mm (0.115L)

                • @m9: hmm oh i knew why
i was looking at the website for charm 13.31 x 10.01 x 1.73 cm; 165.84 Grams probably typo there

            • @m9: What's the real capacity on these, is it actually 10000mah?

              • @ClintonL: ofcourse less. but all powerbank says 10k so its kind of standard marketing term

              • @ClintonL: They’re all pretty similar. All using same battery tech, just depends on the efficiency of the conversion circuit. I think rule of thumb is 60-75% efficiency.

            • @m9: Note the differences apart from 2W:

2 outputs vs 3 outputs in our 10000mah.
No information on warranty, probably 1 year whereas we offer 2 years warranty
Carry Pouch Included with our 10000mAh, none with Charmast

                @ibelievesyd: What warranty?

Zyron are a pain to deal with. My powerpod charger just stopped working after 12 months, and they refuse to replace it saying that warranty expired (disregarding Australian Consumer Law and the advertisement of "2 years limited warranty" on their website.
                Cannot recommend less. Avoid Zyron!

                • @m9: What was the outcome of this did you report it to Accc?

                  • @Boxcuttahz: Pinging @bradstud92

                  • @Boxcuttahz: Not yet. Hoping to have a chat in person/over the phone prior to taking it any further.

                • @m9: The product had 12 month’s warranty clearly listed at the time of purchase, still is. We still support up to 15 months for it. It’s actually send me a replacement or I will write negative reviews everywhere.

                  • @ibelievesyd: Not good. I trust and believe in Zyron, always good to hear the other side. Thank you for your response, I still love and will always recommend Zyron products to anyone and will keep purchasing your products. Cannot wait for you to release your new range

                    • @Boxcuttahz: The product had failed after 17 months of use and the product page clearly says 12 months warranty. It would be unfair if product fails immediately after 12 months so we always replace if product failed within 15 months. I don't think anyone else does that.

                      • +2

@ibelievesyd: Not sticking up for anyone here and I am neutral but dont all products sold in Australia have to adhere to a 2 year warranty period under Australian Consumer Law?

                  • -1

@ibelievesyd: You consider OzB as everywhere? Haven't left it on a public page except for OzB. You need to support the people supporting you, Zyron. If I had known the product would stop working after 15 months I would not have bought it. And surely I'm not alone here in this.

  • Why does it say address not accepted

  • Personal experience their powerbanks are hit and miss…..

The 20000ma was DOA and it took them a while to admit there is an issue an send me a replacement. I think all was in OZB discussion and PM. The replace sent develop a fault with the controller and would not indicate power level anymore. Still works though.

I also brough two 10000 ones from them, also the old models. Both was working as of march this year, one I lost on the plane and the other still working ok.

I think back then when Zyron first came out they have the competitive advantage of being the cheapest PD powerbank. 2003 is a very different playground, at the low end others had catch up and high end market is including new tech into their products. There are many powerbanks does 30-50w charging and cost about the same as this one, some are very well known brands.

Also the warranty issue above is not acceptable in my opinion. In Australia (and Europe), it is actually an invalid warranty when you stated 12 months warranty only. If you were selling through shops like JB, they will send yo a debt note if yo do not accept the warranty claim. Many like to word the warranty as 12 months from manufacturer and 12 months ACL. Which is essentially the same thing. I claim a warranty with Samsung in store on 1 year and 364 days and they have no issue with it.

Its very simply, it is a legal requirement to operate in Australia so price it in, and if you can't then I think its time pack the bags and go home. This market is not for you.

    • "I think back then when Zyron first came out they have the competitive advantage of being the cheapest PD powerbank. 2003 is a very different playground"

Thats pretty impressive since USB PD rev 1.0 was first introduced in 2012 :P

      • 2003 is a very different playground

I mean to say 2023 is a very different playground
