    112 PCE Ratchet Handle

Some numbers of handle are necessary to drive the sockets, but 112? That's more than the total count.

    • Just copy and pasted, not sure what happened. Good catch, thanks for thre edit.

    • Can't handle the handles eh?

I do wish they'd put in a couple of extra 10mm sockets in these kits.

The trick is to have 10+ socket sets

I have the older version of this kit that was sold a few years back. It's a great budget kit.

    • I bought my set over 4 years ago, what has changed? Paid about $90 on sale at that time.

      • I probably have the same set as you. I do recall paying around $90 for mine as well. Not much difference I believe, however, mine didn't come with allen keys.

anyone has this kit? Any feedback?

ToolPRO in general are quite good, and have lifetime warranty.

      What is your use case?

    • +3

I have the larger kit and love it. Has rebuilt many engines from 50cc to 37L V12 Berliet.

  • is massaging acceptable ?

    • Yes, for you ogre.

  • Would this suit most of my needs for at home use (not just automotive) or am I likely to need a set of mixed imperial/metric if I don't currently have any socket set

    • Imperial is nice to have, but I've only ever used it to take off old barn-style doors on my workshop, and some other random stuff in my house.

I think you'll be fine, or you can wait for a deal like this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/774134

    • most of my needs for at home use

It doesn't have a 5.5mm socket, which is the socket required for M3 nuts, the commonest small screw used in electronic equipment.

A 7/32 imperial socket is equivalent to 5.55mm, so close enough.

I won't buy a set that has neither of these sockets, because I use M3 nuts quite often, so I guess it depends on what "home use" is for you.

    • most things are now metric, and if you get 1/2” nut you have 13mm socket …. my imperial ones only get use on old gates from the 70s ….. if you really need a specific imperial size just buy it when needed, else they don’t get used if it’s cars bikes and household …..you will read about people hating paying for mixed metric imperial sets when they just need metric now.

because it also has spanner and deep and shallow sockets means you can hold the bolt and tighten the nuts.

the set i got a few years ago was made in taiwan ….looks the same except handle is now metal mine had plastic grip.
