    I don't think it's about the value, they look really cool and depends if you like ac/dc.
    We bought a few of the ac/dc ones when we visited the Canberra mint back in 2020, cool to see this new set.

    From my experience getting scalped on some coins, some people with no interest in them buy them and sell them for absurd markups on eBay.
    e.g. the 2023 Year of the Rabbit Opal Series coin from the Perth Mint was ~$120 (I think? I may be wrong) direct from the Perth Mint. Mintage was 5,000, and it sold out fairly quickly. And even recently, people have purchased them on eBay for anywhere from ~$200 to ~$350.

    So some coins, you can actually sell for a nice profit. Meanwhile, I don't know much about the AC/DC coins, but I feel like they haven't been that popular and they've been on the RAM eStore for ages without selling out.

    Yes, I do buy these overpriced pieces of metal, but that's because I think they're pretty and look nice, not because I think of them as an investment (although several of them have actually increased a bit). And yes, it is very much a waste of money :D

      We set strict limits with new releases to allow genuine collectors the ability to purchase at retail. While we cannot beat all the scalpers we try our best and do cancel and refund all orders that are flagged as such.
