It's showing 0 steps on mine. Good thing is I'm not that fussed with the step counter, but would be nice to get it working.

  usually on the setup it will ask for permission to access some data. allow it. otherwise no watchface will be able to show anything (for the complication items)

    It did for the calendar and I allowed it. But the steps still show 0. Not sure if there's anything else, but I can live with it.

        @CyberMurning: Nothing happens, it could be a bug.
        
        I tried using Steps on the top complication and the steps show up (although text is really tiny).
