Pizza Hut is giving away up to 171,200 large pizzas as part of their Pizza for Goals promotion during the FIFA Women's World Cup

From Friday 21st July to Monday 21st August daily - 4pm to 6pm AEST

Maximum of 200 pizza giveaways the day following each Goal awarded to any team including Australia
Maximum of 400 additional pizza giveaways the day following each Goal awarded to Australia
To verify the available prize pool each day for the Goal dependant release, Entrants should check Pizza Hut social media for verification of the total prize pool each day; Facebook (PizzaHut) or Instagram (@PizzaHutAU)
Penalty Shootout goals do not count towards the Goal dependant release as Penalty Shootout goals do not count towards a player's or team's tally

        Although yes, absolutely generous and thank you, they have also definitely stopped other people from getting codes in the first place. It's like the government taxing us then we're happy when they give us some money back.

        I've been getting one code a day for a while (except the last week it's been impossible), and I intend to use all my codes for my family, but clearly some people are going nuts getting codes they can't hope to use on time ("Here are some codes but hurry they expire today").

        Why?

        If they just grabbed the fair share they intend to use other people trying are less likely to miss out in the first place.

        I couldn't morally grab codes I can't use - obviously some people here can, but I'm also not particularly impressed by it. Good on you Spectre for saying what I was thinking.

          I posted some codes above, so I feel inclined to give my two cents on this.

          My friend and I have been 'hoarding' codes this time using autofill that is built into the browser we use. We did this last year when they ran a similar giveaway. We only really intended to claim as many codes as we can use however at the beginning of this giveaway, we noticed that there was less competition (we think from bots) so we just claimed more.

          We did have a degree of moral disagreement about claiming so many codes and intended to stop once we had enough to last us until the end of the competition. However, before that came, we noticed that the number of codes we could claim dropped significantly (again we theorise from bots) so we decided to just get as many as we could get and give away what we don't use to real people.

          At the beginning of the competition, we could claim around 5 each per day but now we're lucky to get one (again, we're autofilling so we should be guaranteed at least one). So, with this in mind, we thought it's safe to assume that it's impossible for anyone who isn't autofilling to get a code. This is the reasoning behind why we're giving away some of the codes we're unable to use to those who did it faithfully.

          I know this is still somewhat disagreeable and stems on the idea that bots are taking all the codes. I think the fact that others have so many codes that are expiring now shows how much easier it was to get codes at the beginning compared to now. I think the actions that pizzahut took this time dissuaded a lot of botters however they missed the mark in making a completely 'fair' giveaway.

          I'd love to hear anyone's opinion on this, both positive and negative. I think Spectre007 has a fair point but there are more aspects to this than meets the eye.
