  • Great little printer, bought one a few months ago 2nd hand for more than this!, very happy with it.

  • +1

Fantastic little unit, bought to complement a larger format printer. Was $230+ inc BL touch (which I didn't end up using) last deal.

Printing the base that houses the powersupply unit is a must!

    Great price.

    • thanks for your support!

  • i notice almost none of the chinese 3d printer companies (all over aliexpress, ebay, etc) list to temu. do they just offer very bad merchant terms?

  • Damn was showing as $79usd but now up to $99usd

    • it's our deal bug, fixed today ;d

      • How can I get it for $79?

  • Man the 3d printing industry has really boomed.

I remember adding some linear rails to my ender 3 cost as much as this… meanwhile there’s a full unit here utilising them and arguably likely getting similar or better prints…

  • Hi there. This is showing up for me as 119 usd. Do I need to put in a coupon code? Thanks

    • add it to the cart , select Australia, do your postcode, calculate shipping and voila, $99 (USD)

  • A few questions:

    1. Is this unit good for absolute beginners?
    2. Do I need any of the extras: PEI or glass plates, engraver head, touch sensor?
    3. What doesn't it do that a more expensive one does; what are its limitations?
    • +1

ANY cheap 3D printer is good for beginners……….great way to learn. this one's robust enough and has active communities online and on facebook

you don't NEED any of the extras….it'll work fine without them.
learn about the printer by doing, then you'll figure out if you need anything else

the PEI thing is 'good' beacause it's easy to pop the plate off, bend and remove the model if it sticks too hard

3 - it 3D prints PLA and basic filaments. more expensive printers can print other more expensive filaments.
its limitations is the small print volume, limited range of filaments and speed

download Cura or Prusaslicer, put in an STL , level the bed and print!

NO printers are quite plug and play - but if you're even slightly 'technical' you'll be just fine,
my 8 year old daughter is learning just fine on my multiple printers

        Thanks for the rundown.l, @bleugh.

the PEI thing is 'good' beacause it's easy to pop the plate off, bend and remove the model if it sticks too hard

Sounds like a good addition, then. Does the printer come with a plate at all, or is one meant to print that too?

Out of curiosity, is printing missing LEGO pieces a thing?

What's the reason one shouldn't buy this EasyThreed X1 for US$67 (delivered) or this EasyThreed K9 for US$70 (delivered) instead, if "ANY cheap 3D printer is good for beginners"?

        • +1

Yes, printing lego is a thing…
but, NO, not really on these Filament printers - Resin printers have the accuracy to do OK with lego…..otherwise, 'bricklink' is the go-to site to figure out the number of the lego piece you miss and to purchase

Yes, it comes with a printing surface - magnetic one which also comes off , is flexible…but, not quite as good as adhering
they were all the rage 5 years ago, so still work great today.

no need to upgrade unless you know why you need to upgrade!

RE buying 'any cheap 3D printer' - maybe that's over zealous….
THIS 3D printer seems to be about the cheapest one that actually does something useful and has a following…
prior to this, the 'ender 3' was a go-to budget printer (and still is for a slightly larger print)

          the EasyThreed one's haven't had great reviews…

best thing, if you're uncertain, google the printer model number and add words like 'forums, reviews, youtube, etc etc'

  • Is this deal still active?

I am seeing $119 USD for the KP3S even after adding to the cart and calculating shipping.

    • yes, still active

      • I think I am missing something because I cannot get the price to $99 USD.

What exactly do I need to do to get this deal?

        • add it to the cart , select Australia, do your postcode, calculate shipping and voila, $99 (USD)

        • use coupon code when checking out

    • just checking. it's auto coupon code, you could see the price to 99USD when checking out. only select AU warehouse.

      • I don't think the coupon code is being automatically applied.

I still get $119.00 USD at the pay now page.

This is for KP3S with no extras, shipped from AU and the receiving address is is Brisbane. I doubt it matters, but I am also not using a VPN.
