I have this charger, bought for retail price but am very happy with it.

Can charge a MacBook Pro 14in M1 pro no problems, and it's way more compact than the original charger.

If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to try and answer them :)

    • Do you have BatteryInfo software and can check how much power its actually pumping into laptop compared to original ?

    • +1

Does the unit get really hot charging a MBP?

      • +2

@ChipsChicky, I don't have any software that would give me that information. But in my use case, I like to take it out when I am using my Macbook away from home as it's a nice compact charger that can keep my laptop kicking. It doesn't charge as fast as the original but is much more convenient to carry.

@lberation, I wouldn't say really hot, but it does get toasty and I wouldn't want to hold it unless my hands were cold. A nice hand warmer in the winter for sure.

    • I am also curious about the answers above :)

    Great find OP.

Probably a tad more compact than the Zyron 65W/66W, but I do like having USB-A as well.

How are we on zyron not catching on fire and brand reliability?

        • Australian local seller which means the things they sell need to be Australian certified. Ala insulated pins, etc.

        • -2

def "on fire": 1) very excited/passionate
          2) performing exceptionally
          3) great intensity or excitement ;)

Every brand tries to survive & has good& bad products (recalls, etc).
          Asked comrade Bard:
seems to be NEW reliable product (still too early for statistical proof).
5/5 stars: "This charger is amazing! It's so small/compact…can charge laptop, phone, & tablet at the same time, & it doesn't get hot."

3/5 stars: "This charger is okay. not the fastest , but it gets the job done. I've had few problems, but the customer service has been great. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase."

Zyron quality isn't great, 3 x gan chargers died within a year.

  • +3

Make sure you keep your receipt with these, I’ve had 2 die on me. Both times they were replaced under warranty. I’m only charging my phones/tablets with these using the cables provided with the device too

    • Been watching this Gan dual wall charger, but not pulling trigger as seeing many reviews complaining one port stops working after a while. Thought Belkin quality should be top the notch

  • I know it's likely been asked a thousand times but how do I get a commercial account without being a commercial entity

  • +1

Thanks OP. ordered charger and cable. had to choose delivery $5 as no stores closeby to pick up

  • +1

I know it supports PD 3.0. Can anyone confirm that it can charge at 45w for s23 ultra? As s23 ultra requires SFC 2.0.
    Thanks in advance.

    • +1

It displays "Superfast Charging" on my Galaxy Tab S8+ when plugged into the 45w port and nothing else is plugged into the other port. Hope this helps.

      • Thanks

      • +2

It should display "Super Fast Charging 2.0" for 45W.

        • Thanks

    • +3

Doesn't support Samsung superfast charge 2.0. I can confirm.

      • Thanks

    • This seems a tricky one to find the answer to.
@Mregmi is it possible you're using the included USB-C cable from the box?
According to a random Reddit post you also need a USB-C 5a cable, on top of a charger supporting PD PPS (as the Belkin does). The cable included in the Samsung box is a USB-C 3a cable.

  • How do we get a TGG commercial account? I don’t see there is a register link

    GaN Charger

    • Yup agreed. The OzBargain system keeps autocorrecting " GaN " to "Gan" despite me not electing to go with Gan.

  • 4 to 5 business days…. wait starts now

  • Man I’d love one that was a USB-A/USB-C combo
