    Is this compatible with submarine?

Logitech has you covered for your submarine controller needs.

Surely one would want Hall sticks for longevity for this specific use case

When I saw this comment last night I assumed it was referring to game called Submarine, which must've been quite popular since you said it as though other Xbox users would instantly know exactly what you were talking about. Imagined it as a more advanced Silent Service, and felt disappointed that I never got into Xbox and missed out on this game, though also suspected it might instead be some arcade-y underwater shoot 'em up of no interest to me.

So this morning I was going to look it up. Then I saw the replies and my dreams imploded. Funny twist though - the US Navy uses Xbox controllers in its Virginia class subs.

  • For those of you using controllers with PC, which one do you recommend? I prefer wireless, but not sure which one to buy. Of course i still prefer KB+Mouse for FPS, just for other casual gaming like Stray etc.

      I use the Xbox controller

I use to be like you, then I come to the realization that im only 50cm from my pc, so corded is the way to go. I used the controller for a while and it is great. Have moved onto a Gamesir G7.

      • I use a 42" C2, so i tend to sit a bit far, and sometimes i do game on my projector, so wireless is a bit convinient for me.

Get the 8bitdo Bluetooth ultimate controller. Has Wifi and Bluetooth. I got it during Prime Sales earlier this week for $80 and loving it. I've connected it to my PC, Android and tablet

      • But i don't think that it has Xbox One/Series X|S compatibility like the wired version has?. No good for console gamers. For PC sure it's fine.

OP is asking for PC controllers, not for xbox compatibility?

          Am I missing something?

          • @DevlicK: Yeah and i was letting people know in case they might buy it also thinking that it might also work with their Xbox console. That they will waste their money if they do so. You know $80 is a bit of money to waste with that.

            • @hollykryten: Yes, I agree. Your comment made it sound like I was giving the wrong recommendation because it isn't compatible with Xbox

In case anyone else is looking to buy it, it also lists the compatibility in the name and item description in the Amazon link "8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller with Charging Dock, Bluetooth Controller for Switch and Windows"

Can confirm it works with Android BT as well.

      • That looks good, The BT one I guess it has the hall sensors so no drift for life, does the AB buttom mapping needs to be changed for every new PC game that comes pre-configured for default xbox controller mapping? Is that going to be an issue? Sorry never had controllers before :)

        • I haven't tried but it shouldn't.
