Hi, just wondering if anyone knows a good quality hair lightener for use at home. And where I can get it (local shops preferred). Any recommendations I look up are always in the US/UK.

Hi Maeve - when I needed to saved money and decided to colour my own hair - I just went to Hairhouse Warehouse - I'm in Melbourne - and asked the girls for help. Hairhouse Warehouse are a hair product shop and hairdressers. So now I mix my own colour - I use digital kitchen scales and am saving myself a fortune - much better colour than the supermarket box ones and I only touch up the roots these days - so my hair is in good condition.

You can get the blue hi lift stuff from any phamarcy, mix with developer.

If you add "+site:.au" (without the quotes) to the end of whatever you type into Google, it will only return results from websites that have .au in their domain name.
Old age works well.. turns any hair grey
