Bought this a while ago. Great quality!

  • Can it be used corded as well as cordless?

    • my Google-fu indicates yes

    • +1

Yes, I use it in the shower all the time

    • Yeah can be used corded and cordless, however I find that mine has a little more oomph when plugged in so it doesn't bog down as much going though my head hair. Great unit for the sale price.
Works well on body hair too (without the guides) Cuts close enough without being too close that it leaves sharp stubble.

Not sure why negged, I leave it in the shower after shaving my head. Easy to wash out. Even shave my head under the shower with the water running. Had it for over a year and no issues.

    • Why the hell would you even try ? Actually, I'd love to see that 👀

      • Try corded? In case it runs out halfway through a haircut…

great unit - been using mine every 3 days for past year and its still great - battery doesn't last as long as it used to,

Yeah this is good, used it for a year

  • Got this. I find the button location very tricky as it lends to accidental pressing which is quite frustrating. YMMV.

  • As mentioned above noticeable battery fade over time, but still the best clippers ive used in this price range.

Best thing is that it doesnt pinch your hair like other brands

  • These are pretty good, not very powerful, but as long as your hair is not crazy tangled then it should do the job.

These are amazing clippers and I have saved way more than what I paid for in the last 2 years..

  • I`ve got a Braun Beard Trimmer Bt5260 and it always cloggs up with my beard and head hair. ( need to take the comb off and clean the blades manually)
Is this Phillips Clipper the same??

    • Buy it and find out !

I have the silver version and it's great. Only issue is there's no setting between no attachment (~0.5mm) and the beard trimmer attachment (2.0mm). My old Panasonic one went from 0.7 to about 2.0 in 0.3mm increments without an attachment, wish I could still get it.

  • I have one, sending it back, lasted all of 1 use and the comb guard broke - cheap plastic. It's a decent unit but let down by the weakest link. Also it's worth going with the silver one which is lithium instead of nickel.

  • Pays for itself .$25 a haircut
