Searching for a decent soundbar deal. This is not listed as on sale with Video Pro, $1145 may be their standard price which appears to be well below the RRP of $1499.95, as pretty much every other seller has it listed for $1499.95 (JB, HN, GG etc.) may be a pricing error.
Thoughts versus 990c?
Same question. Any reason to get this over the Q990C ? You can get that for $1245 from Appliance Central:

The speakers are battery powered and don't need a power supply, good for open living rooms and similar.
I liked the idea of truly wireless satellite speakers. Does the Q990C require a power source for the satellite speakers? I realise the JBLs need to be charged, will see how the battery life goes on them.

I was going to grab the BOSE 700 on the prime deal, but then started looking at other options. RTINGS compared this and the BOSE equivalent and they seemed similar. BOSE 700 + sub + speakers was around $1500, then found this for $1145 - seemed like a good deal. Hopefully I dont regret it - I'm happy with the sound of other JBL products.
I also have a bottom range Samsung sound bar + satellite speakers and am not impressed with it at all.
@mcpondy69: I've got the Samsung HW-K950 from way before, and absolutely love it! They've only improved in all the subsequent models.
Would not hesitate to buy one again. Looking for a reason to upgrade, but missus is not taking too kindly to my purchases these days.

@mcpondy69: I ended up cancelling my order as they couldn't give me a solid delivery time, It was going to take 2weeks+ as they had no stock. Cancelled and went the Samsung Q990C deal mentioned above.
I just pulled the trigger on this.
