  • What the maximum cash back?

    $20 cap

  • Is that a Westpac deal? Got excited and then double checked the terms…
"To Ensure eBay Australia Cashback and Promo Code Eligibility.
    DOs
Pay with your eligible linked Westpac card to earn bonus Cashback. See shopback.com.au/westpac or 'Westpac Lounge' on app for details"

    • @gotyourback can you confirm if this is a Westpac only deal?

      • +1

The 10% clearly isn't Westpac only.

      • +1

Nah this is available for all users. The term above refers to Bonus Cashback on top of the rate advertised here.

        • +1

When will SB bring 10% normal and 10% westpac on same time?

    • +1

Think it says use Westpac card to earn extra bonus cashbacks!

    • I checked all their other stores, and it appears that clause is also on there.

I'm assuming that clause only applies to 'bonus' Cashback.

      • ok, let's assume it is not locked to Westpac then.

  • Anyone have a search link for those codes?

  • +3

We should shop prime day, eBay? Who's eBay?

**everyone else wearing shirts saying "We should shop prime day, Amazon"

Exclusions & promo code usage is a bummer

  • Only works on their specific crappy deals, not sitewide.

    • It's not sitewide?

      • +1

Only where the promo code JULYY15 and JULYY17 is shown in afraid. Another rubbish deal by Ebay

        • +1

I read it as that it excludes the usage of those codes

          • +2

@King Steuart: This is the most confusing eBay deal I've seen tbh

            • @revivor: It's the double negatives which always get me.

              Exclusion…. Except … - 0.00%

      • +1

Its side wide but exclude the use of codes (except JULYY15 & JULYY17)

        • -1

exclude the use of codes (except JULYY15 & JULYY17)

          Double negative.

          Poor grammar.

          No deal.

            @jv:

Standard Cashback [Capped at $20, Valid for Orders Placed Between 10am and 4pm AEST] 10.00%
            Exclusions & promo code usage (Except: JULYY15 & JULYY17) 0%

What it is saying is that JULYY15 & JULLY17 are excluded from the 0% rate and therefore eligible for cashback.

            • @eecan: We need @gotyourback to confirm this

            • +2

@eecan: That's correct mate, Coupon codes are typically not eligible for Cashback, on this occasion JULYY15 & JULYY17 are the exception to this and are eligible for Cashback.

              • @gotyourback: But the codes are only usable on specific (poor) deals eBay is promoting, and not sitewide.

                • @ArtOfTheDeal: The 10% Cashback applies to the entirety of eBay Australia so you don't have to shop exclusively from items under those codes, you just can't stack with the use of coupon codes unless what you're after comes under those two codes.

  • Found the link guys from another post!
    https://www.ebay.com.au/b/Coupon-Promotions/bn_7116150158

    • +1

FYI usually there's a lot more eligible items than are shown in those lists.

  • +1

Is the $20 capped per order or per account?

    • +2

Per transaction mate, so long as you exit and click through from ShopBack in between purchases you can redeem the cap multiple times.

  • +3

The way I read it - you don't qualify for cashback if you use any promo codes with the exception of JULYY15 & JULYY17.

In other words, you can use JULYY15 & JULYY17 codes and still qualify for cashback.

  • Like come on…. At least give us 15% so I can bite down hard

    • +1

Reckon ebay will give us anything juicy tomorrow? Suck in the first cohort with this, then drop something decent tomorrow to compete with prime day?

  • Not for ebay plus members?

  • Does this work for auctions?

  • +4

Come on SB do this at least at night time when we aren't at work!

    • That's the idea !
