reolink is good budget friendly security camera. out performs many "higher spec" cameras out there. my only gripe is with their wireless battery operated cameras is the battery life. you can get the solar panel but i think it ruins the look of the house facade. everything else, works like a charm out of the box.

    • what battery life do you currently get

  • I've got about 12 Reolink cameras installed at my place. They work great, and they were the only reasonably priced ones we saw with a good app and actual quality. For $1000, I'm sure you could get Reolinks, but if not, cheaper brands might also do the trick. I'd vouch for Reolink though. :)

    • Great, thanks. Which Reolink cameras did you get? link please?

      • Don't have the link unf but its a 4k one I bought off Aliexpress with 16ch nvr.

  • I have Reolink and love them. Just make sure you look up the exact models as they have slightly different specs. I have the 802 I think, but there are A and C models.
The main difference is whether the camera has IR at night, a dedicated light for full colour night capture, or both.
