It looks like Mateminco are OEM for this one. I was fortunate enough to visit their factory a month ago and got to play with the Mateminco SL01 (US$31 RRP?).

  • How is this compared to the Wuben C3?

They are very different lights, the Astrolux LT2 is a 2 in 1 light that compromises throw for a diffused lighting for a lantern mode with 2 colour temps, cool and warm. It is versatile with the compatibility with 14500 or AA batteries, but compromises on runtime compared to a 18650 battery. The clear cap at the front will diffuse light, so it may a little distracting to use in torch mode compared to the Wuben C3 which has an aluminium head. I think both lights has its place, depending on your use.

  • Nice that they actually state the LED used rather than leave us having to guess from pictures, but all the same I bet it's 6500k and low CRI.
