Wow!!! That's 1k on my side

  • Yes got this also :)

  • +4

PS: Everyday Rewards 'Spend $x for Points' offer usually resets every Monday morning.

    • Thanks for that, I'll add a little disclaimer to the post!

      • +3

Another tip is to have multiple Everyday Rewards Cards (ie. one for each family member) so you can take advantages of different targeted offer.

        • And if creating new Everyday Rewards accounts, don't forget to sign up using the joining link that starts you off with 1,500 free points. The first offer you get upon joining will be 200 points on any shop but if you wait one week you should receive an offer of 500 points with no minimum spend.

  • +1

yes, got it this week and 2 weeks ago….best deals I have had from ER for a long time! I normally go with the Coles deals When buying some meat and 24 pack toilet rolls etc, it doesn't take much to get to the $100. Managed to snag some marked down bulk mince as well in that order.

  • +3

Woolworths has stopped sending me these since I started shopping with them more often. Looks like I'll be going back to Aldi for a bit…

    • +1

Start a new card, so you can cycle these offers.

      • I thought about it, but I normally convert them to Qantas points, so will need to see if it is possible to convert to Qantas and then transfer them to my Frequent Flyer account.

        • You can only have your ff number linked to one EDR account at a time. Relatively easy to link/unlink multiple EDR accounts and rotate between bank for Christmas though.

  • +1

1800 points for $50 here (second time in a couple of weeks), along with 400 points for using Everyday Pay. Better for me as a single person household as $100 is always a stretch, but in a 2 or more person household, that's pretty good…

    • 2300 pts for $50 spend is the better one in the system.

  • +2

lol mine is awful … 2100 points for $310 spend and 600 points for using Everyday Pay 3x before sometime in August.

    • +1

Spend $90 for 1800 points for me, i'll pass lol

  • +2

I'm not seeing any offers, and haven't for sometime. As others have said, I think you need multiple memberships and/or shop elsewhere to obtain better offers.

  • +2

900 for 3x $30 for me. They really don’t want me to shop at Woolworths. Coles gives out much better points. I just got 10,000 Qantas points for buying under $300 worth of wine. Why would I consider this option?

  • +2

Got the 5400 for $100 since my main shop is Coles.
Meat stockup looks to be in my future, and combine with my 10% off monthly through their car insurance for double win

    • +1

I use the 10% to buy long shelf life homebrand products that don't go on special e.g. sugar, cereal
      .

  • +2

I have spend 100$ for 3k points offer

  • +1

Since these are different for everyone these "target"'ed posts are basically good for bragging and nothing else.

For reference I got a crappy "3 x points" booster this week.

  • +1

Received this + targeted 4000pts for joining Everyday Extra on same account.

So combining the offers, get $111.12 shop for $100 & 9300 bonus pts!!
(Need to pay $7 for 2nd month subscription to qualify for 4000 bonus points. Will then cancel.)

Usual weekly offer for months has been 2000pt for $40 spend. Better suits my low spend per week at Woolies.

    • I've never had the 2000pt for $40 spend you're so lucky!

      • +1

I think this offer lasts for 3 weeks, 2000 pts for $40 spend each week separately.

        • +1

Yes - plus have received that 2000pt for $40 spend offer each week for months on different Rewards accounts.
So can spend multiples of $40 each week - in separate shops.

But 1 x $40 shop per week suits me.
With occasional large shop on mainly non-perishable items (like this offer).

Collected 16,000 bonus points on $82 spend last week🎉
The advantage of multiple Rewards accounts😉

        • Do you ever get that offer? I think a long time ago I had one where it was 1000 first week, second was 2000 then third was 3000. I seem to keep getting just the one week offers now with the occasional spend x for 4 weeks. My best offer this week was the 5400 on $100 spend and then $1800 for $50.

          • +1

            @attalisie:

1000 first week (on $30), second was 2000 (on $40) then third was 3000 (on $50)

            Was my favourite regular offer.
Been many months since received those. Got them on multiple cards.

Always shopped only in week 3 (3000pts for $50) for best benefit. Didn't need to shop in weeks 1 & 2, to receive week 3 offer.

            • @INFIDEL: This offer is no longer issued. Most offers allow multiple purchases to reach the spend target now.

            • @INFIDEL: Thats right! It was so long ago that I forgot it needed to be done in one shop. Then when covid hit I didn't do the shopping and cards never got the good offers again. The best I get now is 5400 on $100 spend but then there's usually no offer on any cards for the second week of shopping. Thats why I'd really like the 2000 on $40 for 3 weeks! I might trial scanning the same card in the second week to see if it could trigger some second week offers as I currently don't scan any card if I have no offer.

              • @attalisie: Yes - don't scan unless for a good offer.

My usual weekly spend is $40-50… I don't eat or need much!

                Did a $113 shop yesterday (mainly on non-perishables on sale) for ~$100 & 5604pt using Everyday Extra 4000pt offer…
Going back for a $40 shop on food for 2000 pt today.

                Then have Coles 4 x $50 for 10000pt.

                Life is suffering🤣

      • Again, the advantage of multiple Rewards accounts😉
        More offers to choose from!

        • how many cards to you have? Ive got 6 (now 7 lol)

          • @attalisie: Ah, see you wisely upgraded to #7!

11, but only about 4 are regularly used. Left over from when set up accounts to help family & visitors years ago.

Checked activity in Rewards app - used 1 last week that was last used almost a year ago. Points are lost if not used. It received 2000 bonus points!

            • +1

@INFIDEL: The neighbours cat just got an account lol. Will see if it gets different offers to my regular 6. I also pay with gift cards but make sure not to use the same between accounts. Thanks to Neoika I now have Dual app installed so I can stay logged into all accounts on the one phone. Thank you both for all the great tips and help, certainly getting better offers and saving much more money!

              • +1

                @attalisie: Glad you are benefiting.
Have been suggesting multiple Rewards accounts since the Rewards system started many years ago. There wasn't much interest - until now.

Pets consume Woolies products too! So deserves their own Rewards card😉

            • @INFIDEL: Did you create all those accounts under the same name and address?

              • +1

@Charlieeee: As set up for different people - under different names & email addresses (years ago). But same street address & mobile - so I can manage accounts.

                • @INFIDEL: Likewise, different names and email, but same address and mobile number.

                  • +1

@attalisie: Just cloned Rewards app - will see how useful having 2 apps will be it is.

                    • @INFIDEL: It saved so much time for me!

                      • +1

@attalisie: How do you use the 2 Rewards apps to save time?

Haven't found 1 app an issue. Worked fine for years.
Each week, check for best Rewards offer in emails (every Tuesday), copy account number & activate only that 1 offer in app. And set a reminder.

Have 2nd Rewards app on old phone - but rarely used. 2 apps on 1 phone would be the similar.

It occasionally requires more work when checking rare good offers like the 2000 bonus points per targeted account
6 accounts were targeted in that offer. Those received the email. So copied account number for each to Rewards app. (Checked all accounts, just in case.)
Also had 2000pt for $40 spend offers on 2 of those accounts.
Worth it for 16,000 bonus points🎉

A previous targeted offer was on all 11 accounts. Only happened once. Collected 26,000 bonus points🎉

                        • +2

@INFIDEL: Clone both the rewards app and woolworths app (x2) gives you around 6 concurrent logged in accounts per device.

                          • @randomusername2017: Xiaomi has in built Dual App. I use it to dual a Clone App.

                            • @Neoika: I use a 3rd party app called dual space. Found the inbuilt one bit buggy.

                              • @randomusername2017: From my experience, flybuys certainly tightened up on login. Clone APP may not work, but Xiaomi in bulit Dual App still works. Similar situation with KFC App.

                                • +1

@Neoika: Any tips on the maccas app😇

                                  • @randomusername2017: No. I found in built Dual App function is more reliable if you phone comes with it.
Just to add, Everyday Pay may not work in the cloned App at the checkout.

                          • @randomusername2017: Thanks.
Only read about app cloning in last few days, from comment by Neoika👍

Just getting a feel for it after years of doing without. But now a believer. Seeing more uses where multiple accounts are used with same app.

Trying 3rd party apps on new Android 12, waiting for 13. Android 14 is expected to include cloning.

                            Happy there's this discussion.

                            • @INFIDEL: The recent update on the 9 July for Android version makes the App much harder to be used on Clone App. Don't update if you can. Surely someone monitored here. If no multiples are allowed on one device, it may be better to uninstall the App and not let the link in the email to prompt App.

                              • @Neoika: Given many other apps are being used as clones, and that's being resisted, I'd say any Rewards change is in response to that changed use, rather than any minor discussion here!

                                Am happier not using clones.

Might resurrect my old Android phones & use app on each. Simple, but works.

                        • +2

@INFIDEL: I go shopping on Monday morning, so I check the app for my offers before I get them in my email. I've found the offers are released 11.30pm Sunday night (in Adelaide). So now I've cloned the app 5 times so all I have to do is click the app without adding password and verification code. Its handy when some cards get same points offer but some might have better boost offers so its quicker to compare. And yes, when the offers are bonus points for banking for xmas or opting out of paper receipts I can check that quickly too!

                          • +1

@attalisie: Thanks. Am now coming around to cloning apps. All new to me.

                            Handy to understand your steps.
Even though I've been doing this for many years, always can learn new tricks.

Been doing this so long, I still write offers on the cards with marker pen. A handy visual guide to decide which card to use. Very old school😉

Will be easier to check & activate all offers… without adding password and verification code!

But realistically will only save me few minutes most weeks.

*Some offers are coming in right now…

I shop at end of week to take up any late offers.

                            • @INFIDEL: Thanks for all your tips too. It's certainly good to hone in on finding better ways. I also write down on paper when getting multiple good offers I want to complete in the week! I do like to check the emails too as I have set up all emails to have the offers go into a woolworths folder along with keeping all emails signed in. I just wish the emails came through at the same time as the offers do in the app. It's definitely better to shop end of the week as the boost offers come through new on a Wednesday. Yes its good new offers are happing more often to make use of the dual apps :)

    3000 points for $100 spend

  • +2

    I got 3000 for $100

But I also got collect up to 1200 points when you spend $30 on 3 shops

  • -1

Surely it’s a matter of time before Woolworths and Coles crack down on multiple accounts? Especially with the Coles MasterCard sales. I wonder if with time they would require a unique device id per account and clamp down on those.

  • I got 5400 for $100 spend. There is another offer - 3000 points for $100 spend 'Online'. Do these offers stack?

    • +1

Yes, the online $100 spend must be a single transaction that you may miss in the case of cancellation. I did stack them a month ago.

      • Thanks for the info.

        • There may be offers like "$10 instant off $140 spend online" that you can stack with as well. It also creates a buffer for $100 single transaction.

  • -1

    I didn't spend a cent at woollies for 4 weeks because i wasn't targeted. I've got 10,000 for $240 spend this week.
