Every weekend there is a huge long line of cars going into DFO from all entry points. What's going on? I been to DFO many years ago but there wasn't anything special there. So confused every time I drive past and see so many cars in line

Australia's worst roundabout + few roads = easy to get long lines in and out
Taylor Swift meet and greet
Poor road construction and limited ingress/egress results in this sort of fiasco. It's the same wherever there is a westfield with one entry point and multiple quick changing traffic lights - parramatta westfield I'm looking at you.
that roundabout for Homebush DFO is the worst bit of road engineering I've seen in a long time. Saying that, if it was improved there'd still be a bottleneck at the actual car park entry.
Thanks for your input all. Seems like there's a few compounding factors. Really thought I was missing out on some amazing bargains at DFO
Are you new to the area?
Nah not new but haven't been inside that DFO for many years so thought I was missing out on something. Probably drive past once a month or so on the weekend and always see a line of traffic.
The stuff is cheaper than if you walked in Westfields, but it's not cheaper than the deals you get on OzB
Send them to DFO Cairns but ONLY if you wear a bullet proof vest and have some security escorts!
They're replacing the roundabout with a diverging diamond, an optimistic timeline will see it open in 2026
I agree, it's a nightmare.Sounds like a Utopia storyline
The length of the traffic line is directly proprtional to the RBAs current interest rate. The higher the rate the shorter the line will get..
There’s ur answer
Dfo brisbane was like that too last few times we went (on a Saturday)
